Do you know what the Hero’s Journey is? The Hero’s Journey is a structure that a lot of stories share. It is a plot that stories fall under to create the plot. But the question is does the story Atalanta follow the hero’s journey?



The Hero’s Journey is a structure seen in in many stories and myths from different cultures. Some examples of the hero’s journey are in your favorite superhero’s movies or books or comics or you read! For example, in the Movie Man of Steel, Superman is born on kryptonite, he is sent from kryptonite ( his home planet ) to earth. This is called the call to adventure.  The call to adventure is what begins the characters adventure to the unknown or a new world which is earth in Supermans case. There is a story called Atalanta, Atalanta is a girl that was raised by a bear. Atalanta was left on a mountain by her father and I would call these the Road of trials be
