Nice to meet you, too. How'd you meet Emily?
You :
I met her about a year ago, she used to be on a forum called ETARC. That turned into quite the community after awhile. She'd respond to everyone's posts every once and awhile.
Claire :
Yeah, she's certainly friendly.
You :
In fact, she was the one that had us make all of those comics for you not too long ago.

Oh wow, really? That's so awesome!

They were SO COOL.
You :
Awesome! We're glad you enjoyed them! We all put a lot of work into them for you.

I can tell. I've never been in a comic book before, but it's always sorta been a dream of mine.
You :
Hahaha. Yeah, I think a lot of people want to be in something like that at one point or another. Was there any particular comic book you wanted to be a part of? A favorite comic perhaps?

Ugh that's like asking me to pick a favorite child.

Not that I have kids, but, you know.
You :
Hahaha. I don't doubt it. Personally I've always wanted to be a part of a comic too. Always been a fan of all of the DC stuff, Batman, Green Arrow, The Flash. Lots of fun characters.
Claire :
Yeah! And I love how different writers can expose different sides of the same characters.
You :
For sure! The writers usually do such a good job of portraying the characters. Even the villains can be somewhat relateable at times.
Claire :
The best villains are always relateable. No villain thinks they're a villain, right?
Claire :
If you could have ANY superpower, what would you pick?
You :
Hmmm. That's a tough one. The obvious answer is "The super power to have any super power I want" but that's a bit of a cop out. I'll have to go with speed, like the flash! It seems like a boring power, but it opens a lot of doors for other things. :)

I feel like if I had super speed I'd try to brush my teeth too fast and hurt myself on accident.
You :
Like, if you really wanted to, you could run all the way down to the candy store, buy some candy, and run all of the way back up in like. Ten seconds. That sounds pretty awesome to me.
You :
What do you think your superpower would be? If you had one?

Until you get stuck behind three people walking shoulder-to-shoulder and blocking the WHOLE DARN SIDEWALK

I feel like getting out of here safely could count as a superpower.

Maybe time travel.

Well, hopefully we can help out with that. We've all been working really hard to try our best to get you out of there. We've heard from some of the other dreamers what it's like.

I really hope you can help me.

I'm so scared I'll never get out.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get into this mess?
You :
We're going to help you! I promise. We'll get you out of there, Claire.

It seems so impossible. I spend so much time thinking about it, worrying about it.
You :
Some of the conversations you've had with Emily have helped her (and us) learn more about you, with that we can reconstruct everything and then tada, eventually get you out :)

It is. The more we talk, the more we can help you out. Emily has done most of the work, and she's giving her all to keep you and the others safe, and get all of you out of there.
