Giant LEGO Saunders arrives in Oxford

After hearing of the by-election, a group of LEGO enthusiasts headed by CrappyCommunist – along with hundreds of volunteers – decided to construct a giant statue of Saunders, standing 5 tall, built entirely out of Lego. Having completed this ground-breaking project, the statue was taken out to the centre of Oxford for all to see. Around the statue were stood a large group of campaigners, who were handing out leaflets to passers-by.

In the hand of the statue was a large placard detailing many of Saunders’ key issues, including the support of small businesses, a reduction in the budget deficit, and the protection of the natural environment for future generations.
