Richie's drained corpse is representative of the possibility of Linnea losing control and causing the death of someone she loves deeply. Solaire's charred body mirrors that of Leilani's after her untimely suicide and illustrates a dual meaning: her fear of losing Solaire to suicide and her fear of losing someone she considers to be her other half, much like Leilani was as her twin. As she has gotten older, she has lost her optimistic and positive outlook on life and instead, removed the rose-colored glasses and become much more of a realist. She's impulsive, aggressive, and at times abrasive even with those she considers close. She can be high-strung at the worst of times and has more emotional and mental walls than one could count. It takes a lot to get Linnea to be vulnerable, but when she is around those she trusts, she finds solace in being open with them. However, they are far and few in between; Linnea does not trust easily, and so it may take a long time for Linnea to garner enough faith in somebody to expose that vulnerability. She is observant and a quick thinker, although definitely not the the most intelligent –– which becomes quickly evident when she acts irrationally. Nevertheless, she harnesses a great capacity of leadership skills, and can dominate a room should her own self-doubt not get in the way. Linnea does have a soft side, particularly with her family and around children. She is most comfortable being in control of any and all situations, but dislikes being the center of attention.

While she is most definitely sensitive, Linnea is capable of hiding her feelings very well if she desires. Similarly, she is an expert liar, and to some degree has never let anyone know her full truth. She is not naturally confident and is her own worst critic, especially in the workplace. She is constantly trying to better herself, not just for the sake of others but also for herself. She is maternal and has always done well with children -- many of the current Flowers children were raised, at least partially, by Linnea. Linnea is almost never satisfied with anything and struggles to leave a situation to rest if she hasn't gotten the last word. This rings true for arguments and fights: she feels as if she has to constantly prove herself to others, and winning is the easiest way to do that.

On top of her brutish nature, she can also be quite unforgiving, especially when she has been severely wronged. She may be vengeful or defensive, act out improperly, or be unnecessarily violent. She has used dark magic on multiple occasions and has even begun to exploit that capability during the worst times. There have been occasions where Linnea has grown intimidating, almost scary, in a manner that is only explained by her vampirism. Since her siring, Linnea's hostility has only increased, and she is usually fighting a mental and emotional battle with herself between her feelings of compassion and empathy against feelings of malice and virulence.

Despite her chilled façade, Linnea is genuinely a good person to have on your side. She is fiercely loyal, adamantly compassionate, and selfless even when it isn't in her best interest. She is personable and has become talented at talking people down from their worst moments, as they have done for her. Her insensitive sense of humor may be questionable at times, but it comes from a good place. Out of her own fears, she is the last person to abandon anyone. Born with astigmatism in her right eye, she has worn glasses for as long as she can remember, only wearing contacts when she absolutely has to. When she was sired, this physical ailment was effectively cured, although her vision will worsen if she goes periods without feeding properly. Linnea was also born with developmental attentional dyslexia, where words tend to migrate and form into each other, resulting in a struggle to decipher words and phrases from each other. As a result, she spends hours on end doing paperwork that would usually take much less time because she has to proofread and redo forms frequently. She also dislikes writing owls and letters, and would much rather approach someone in person.

An innate athlete, Linnea participated in Quidditch and duelling club during her time at Hogwarts. That meant, as a human, Linnea was very in shape and muscular, even during offseason because she duelled so often. Her adventures, though, left her with scars and marks all over her body, as well as frequent visits to the hospital. Her physical and mental health records are lengthy, and she has had many experiences with healers. When she was sired, however, Linnea's body took on a slightly more gaunt appearance: she lost the muscularity she had as an athlete, and her body became much lither. While she can at times appear tired or worn; disordered feeding patterns as a result of her psychological trauma have left her with erratic weight gain and loss. Her appearance can almost be described more feminine (albeit intimidating) than it was before her undeath, although Linnea has entirely lost the self-confidence she had before.

As a vampire, Linnea's physical health has suffered as a result. In particular, her fertility is questionable at best and barren at worst – although, she is unaware of this, and still hopes one day to have a family of her own. If Linnea was to fall pregnant, she would struggle to sustain a pregnancy to full term and risks not only her health and safety, but the child's in question. Vampires are exceptionally unlikely to carry children painlessly and without issue.

Linnea struggles with numerous mental afflictions: major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder is her diagnoses, however, it is noted she struggles from bouts of post-traumatic stress. As a fledgling vampire, Linnea took to calming draughts to cope with her new desires as well as her worsening suicidal ideation. The addiction ruined her health and she was forced to therapy, where she came clean and maintained her sobriety. However, it is a far cry from saying that Linnea doesn't consider relapse often, and has come close on many occasions. When she is around, though, Linnea is easily recognizable for the few distinct features that she has. With long, wiry copper-brown hair, she easily fits into that of her maternal family. Linnea has consistently straightened her hair, even into adulthood, and wears it out of her face when she is working. On rare occasions, however, when she has her hair out, the length frames her face nicely, tumbling down to the end of her shoulder blades. Perhaps her most distinct feature is the black, thin-rimmed eyeglasses Linnea wears daily – up until her siring, she absolutely needed them. Now, however, Linnea has grown so accustomed to seeing herself in them even though they are unnecessary. Because of this, you have to get a good look at her to notice her most memorable feature: her eyes, a bright emerald green, giving her an almost doe-eyed, feminine appearance.

She grows more intimidating in her bone structure: gaunt, due to her vampirism, with a sharp jawline and cheekbones that grow hollow when she has not fed. Her figure is shapely despite her disease – although it is by no means what it once was, Linnea still carries a bit of weight where it matters. This is often unnoticed, however, as she dresses rather conservatively: jeans, flannels, t-shirts. Her only sense of style comes from Florence and Alexis, who dress and beautify her when necessary.

One thing that is unmistakable about Linnea, though, is that she is covered in tattoos. She has nine and counting, from her thighs to her arms to her chest. They are all in distinguishable, noticeable areas of her body, which is unique for someone who used to hide herself so often. Although at times the tattoos may add to her intimidating demeanor in the field, they are in fact intricate and beautiful – something that can only be observed with a keen eye when Linnea has them all for show. Alongside her tattoos is a gathering of scars across her body, from her siring scar on her neck to various Werewolf lacerations along her arms and legs. At this point, Linnea has lost count of the number of scars she has and is mostly indifferent to their presence – to a certain extent.

Standing at about five feet, five inches, she is by no means tall, but holds her own. She dominates in other ways to compensate for her small height, and still carries herself in a way that exudes confidence when duelling. When off-duty, though, Linnea often times blends in with crowds and shrouds herself, disliking an unwarranted attention. Linnea's first tattoo is at the very top of the inside of her left forearm. She got it to commemorate the relationship she has with her cousin, Percy, and their tendency to trauma-bond.
