"So how did you get the admiral to agree to this?" Zuikaku asked, "and more importantly Shoukaku-nee?"

Aoba scratched her head "The thing is this was not my idea..."

"Really cause the last thing I remember seeing was a poster that looked like Jason and the Argonauts, except it was me tied to a rock in a white dress."

"We were going more for a Perseus and Andromeda theme but that works too."

"Well then if this was not your idea it was Akigumo's then?"

"Wrong again, but close." came a voice from what sounded like came from everywhere.

"This was actually a community collaboration from Autumn Cloud. Expect a new release at next Comiket."

"Was, was that Kirishima?"

"Yeah," Aoba confirmed. "When we were setting up the event she was the first choice for the announcer.

"That's all well and good but that brings me to the next two questions I have."

"and those are?"

"Why am I wearing a dress, what are we standing on and WHY AM I CHAINED TO IT!!"

Zuikaku was indeed wearing a very short white dress that barely reached her thighs, any wind could very easily reveal her modesty. As she could not cover herself for as she had stated her arms were chained to the ceiling of a large marble sculpture of a rather detailed oyster. What Zuikaku could not see was that the Oyster she was in was just the top of an even larger statue of angelic Akashi. The statue stood tall and proud wrapped in cloth that covered just enough and large wings from its back above the waves with hands held outward offering the Oyster to the gods.

"That's actually three." Aoba pointed

"Mic check One Two THREEEEE!"

"NOT THE POINT!" Zuikaku yelled

with a snap, Aoba remembered, "Oh right forgot to tell you about this whole thing."

"Kirishima its time for your intro."

Zuikaku frantically looked around as her vision was plunged into darkness that seemed to come from below

"Why did it suddenly get dark?"

Dark clouds formed and lightning struck ominously in the distance.

After a particularly loud clap of thunder, Kirishima began to speak in a low but powerful voice.

"Transcending history and the world, a tale of souls and swords eternally retold."

"Wha, what is going on what souls what swor..."

"Shhh listen," Aoba whispered


"Now two soul are fiercely entangled."

Two screens appeared on the dark clouds, Zuikaku could see Kaga and Enterprise on either screen both fully battle ready.

"The fighters face a gruesome quest to search for the ultimate sword."

With another flash of lightning and clap of thunder the screens vanished

"Watched over by the almighty ones, they unleash their fury.

A single screen appeared on this screen were Yamato, Mushasi, Nagato clad in full o-yoroi. Soryuu Hiryuu Akagi and Shoukaku in traditional kyujutsu fittings. all standing around a large raise cushion upon which sat the Admiral wearing fine robes with a folded fan in hand. In front were the Sendai sisters decked ninja garb and wearing hannya masks. In all, it was quite a site to see.

Another thunderclap and the two screens returned

"Fate conspired to arrange their battle"

The screens switched and all showed Zuikaku tied to the shell in her dress surrounded by the dark stormy sea from various angles. A look of confusion came over her before she realized she was on screen in a skimpy dress that did not cover enough. She began to struggle against the chains. A dramatic flash of lightning, the two cameras on with side switch to show Kaga and Enterprise raise their bow and gun respectively

"Victory belongs to the last one standing."

and with that, the two carriers set loose their planes. The screens disappeared.

"What is going on?"

"Aand that's a wrap." came the voice of Aoba who had just reappeared

The skies cleared as a large tarp seem to just fall away around the statue.

"What?"

"Movie trick Sara told us about."

"A trick?"

"Yup metal sheets for thunder, star shells for lightening and the painted tarp to block out the sun," Aoba said counting of the list on her fingers.

"How did you do this so fast, it's been less than a day since..."

"Indeed Zuikaku" came the thundering voice of Kirishima "We have had these things for a while and with Saratoga's help we were able to set up all of this with help from the carriers and the destroyers."

"What about this statue?"

"Would you believe Ooyoda made this months ago when she was trying to woo Akashi...also it worked."


"She built this in the middle of the ocean to get Akashi...how, why?"

Aoba looked at Zuikaku "You are really going to tell me you would not be impressed if Kaga sculpted a giant and might I add a detailed statue of you in the ocean."

"Touche."

"In any case, we need to go and monitor the battle."

With that Aoba jumped off the statue into the sea and began to sail away.

....

"WAIT A MINUTE! UNCHAIN ME!!" Zuikaku yelled rattling the chains

"Do not worry Zuikaku we will have camera monitoring you and we have sent for two people to stay with you." came the voice of Kirishima

"Zuikaku I am so sorry for what has happened."

Zuikaku looked over to see Hatsuzuki and Isuzu climbing up into the shell, and both had a rope tied around their waist.

"Kirishima really got that Soul Calibur voice down perfectly" Isuzu stayed after catching her breath

"Indeed she has really put in a lot of time on it. Though why not tell her she could just play listen to it on the computer." Hatsuzuki asked

"Well, she had so much fun making a character it seemed kinda wrong to stop her ruin it for her. Plus she is still unbeaten."

"Oh! Zuikaku you look so pretty in that dress."

Zuikaku watched the exchange and looked at her chains and wondered, am I the one that has gone crazy is this normal?

"Well, Zuikaku its time to unchain you so you can watch the match," Isuzu said as she produced a key.


"We brought snacks,"  Hatsuzuki said as she pulled on the rope and pulling up an entire fridge.

Zuikaku rubbed her now free wrists decided she can ask her questions while she eats. Knowing Hatsuzuki she might not have eaten knowing she was bringing food to her.
