For table bookings please call us on 07 8293019 or flick an email to functions@thevillage.kiwi and wait for confirmation. If you have a large party or are wanting a table for either Saturday or Sunday it is advised that you book a few days in advance.  Feel free to bring your own cake if the booking is for a special occasion.

Host your child’s birthday party at The Village!
Take the stress out of hosting a party and let us do the dishes for you! With a array of food options and platters to suit everyone plus a huge playground, The Village Cafe is an ideal location for a kids birthday party. To book a birthday party please fill in the Functions at The Village form and email it back to us at functions@thevillage.kiwi. Once we have the details will be be able to send you confirmation.  If you would like us to provide decorations the fee is $50 and will include balloons, streamers, etc in the colours of your choice (the party must be for a minimum of 10 children). Otherwise you can decorate as you please. If you have an special requests or want further information please call us on 07 8293019.

The Village was opened in early February 2016 thanks to the help of many skilled builders and volunteers who spent many, many hours turning an old shed into destination spot it is today.  WILL EXPAND I DONT KNOW ANYTHING

The Village consists of four businesses working together to breathe new life into a growing rural community.

The Village Cafe Everything you want from a cafe and more. With a huge playground and heaps of other activities for the kids, The Village Cafe is the perfect place to catch up with friends and family while enjoying excellent food and coffee.

Located right next to the cafe is Wild River & Co florists. The shop is a great place to buy handmade NZ gifts and the girls are always happy to chat about any flower arrangement enquires you may have!
