•PERSONALITY:

     Opposite from his sister, Yeongjin is one big softie. He’s more of a passive character, and is on the gentle side. He’s kind of like the bean you would want to protect. After all, he stands at six feet and still manages to get scared by the smallest bug. And let’s not forget to mention that he’s always losing his focus, only to end up staring at some wall for who knows how long. Yeongjin is often sleepy as well, giving him his signature lost expression and slow blinks. Don’t let this fool you though - he is equally as hardworking and determined as his sister, seeing that he’s constantly compared to her, often being labeled as the “less talented twin”. But this doesn’t bother him. Too much. Nonetheless, when he smiles, you can bet that it would sweep you off your feet. Yeongjin has a big heart, and is always sweet to whomever he talks to, no matter how bad they are. In addition, his patience is never ending, and is hard to make angry. He also possesses reverse charm - his looks often cause fans to have several misconceptions about him.


•BACKGROUND:

     Also surrounded by music, it was no doubt that Yeongjin would develop a love for it too. Although, this love was mainly influenced by his twin sister, Yejin, as he admired her. A lot. He got into the same things she did, like singing, playing instruments, and soon, kpop. He was often compared to her by his parents, and would often be asked why he couldn’t do something like her. At first, it hurt him, but Yeongjin eventually grew used to it. Instead, he used this as something to drive him to become better so maybe, one day, he could be considered Yejin’s equal. But this didn’t hurt their relationship - rather, it made them closer. They would always be improving and building each other up. So when they first saw the idols perform on their tv screen, Yeongjin knew that it was an idol he wanted to become, and he and Yejin worked hard to prepare for their audition at SM. Thankfully, they both were accepted, but soon Yeongjin began questioning if he really wanted to become an idol. Trainee life was rough - he had to wake up early in the morning and practice, plus do schoolwork all the way up to twelve in the morning. Turns out Yejin shared the same concerns and they both decided to leave SM. The most discouraged out of the two, Yeongjin didn’t know if he could fulfill the promise he made to Yejin. He eventually stopped dancing and singing, but once Yejin introduced him to Deux, Yeongjin began doing all that again to pass that audition. He got accepted, along with his sister, which leads up to today.

•WHY YOU CHOSE DEUX ENT: Yeongjin chose Deux Entertainment as he felt that the company was the best way to become an idol, seeing that they prioritized their trainees’ health more than anything. He, like Yejin, also had a hunch that the company was going to be very prosperous in the future, but he just wanted another shot at becoming a successful idol.
