♡ haewon grew up without knowing her father and the rest of her extended family. her mother suffered from paranoia in which she thought everyone was out to harm her and her children. her mother implemented strict rules on her children; try not to be seen or found as much as possible. this meant no speaking, no crying, no sneezing, etc., etc. the only time the children were let out of the house was to go to school and they had to leave through the back door and walk through abandoned alleys. if the children failed to follow their mothers rules, she would lock them in a dark closet for sometimes days. when her older brother turned eighteen, he left the home and he took haewon and her sister with him. haewon never really let go of much of her trauma which is why she doesn't talk very often. she realized her love for sing and dance after she left her mother and auditioned for several companies.

haewon spends a large majority of her time reading books, so obviously she retains a lot of information. her vocabulary is massive and whenever she chooses to speak, she's often asked to "speak human" because of her use of large words.

as a child, she never really had much to call her own. now that she's able to have more of her own possessions, she's very protective of all her things. she never lets anyone borrow anything thats hers, she never likes to let people touch or even get near her things.

because of her past, haewon is able to always keep her emotions in check. no one has ever seen her cry or get angry. she may seem to be emotionless or blank around some, but she's the biggest crybaby when alone.
