Happy New Year. At least the water is warm, but there is fuckall to do. Cpl. Josephides played his bass while we drank what little we had. Captain Conrad had me pass out papers. There was some talk, but ultimately nobody decided to leave. I figured I signed up to serve the Federation. I had to stand by humanity, and O'Brian, frankly, has the best shot at protecting us. All my relatives that got out are on Sanctuary. I'm not sure about the ones in Vienna. We're desperate to get back to the Sol System, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon.
