STREAMING AND RECORDING WITH FFMPEG

Use FFMPEG

After setup, use commands:

>to stream

>to record as webm for 4chan posts
ffmpeg -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu -c:v libvpx -an n-jraizu.webm

>record as video with sound
ffmpeg -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu -c:v libvpx -c:a libvorbis n-jraizu.webm

>>create timelapse webm (I haven't tried this before myself)
ffmpeg -i input.avi -y -filter:v "setpts=0.00390625*PTS" -b:v 700k -r 30 output.webm". (256*0.00390625 = 1)

You can also just directly copy the streams without any encoding. It's very fast and allows you to tweak the settings yourself later on:

ffmpeg -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu -c copy n-jraizu.mkv

You will still have to encode the streams to vp8(and vorbis if audio) if you want to post it on here though.
