  6. not sure why
  7. I am one sleepy GM and you've got a lot of others loitering around new player chat
  8. SpiracribeToday at 12:25 AM
  9. xD, this way I wont be spamming everyone :), want I want is a bit complicated
  10. alquimistablancoToday at 12:25 AM
  11. I mean ok
  12. I can promise you that whatever "complicated" thing you've come up with, every DM has at least two characters that are more complicated :stuck_out_tongue:
  13. ask me to tell you about my guy who can literally throw his fists across a room :joy:
  14. SpiracribeToday at 12:26 AM
  15. xD wtf
  16. alquimistablancoToday at 12:26 AM
  17. exactly
  18. but yeah man, new player chat is for spamming with questions
  19. it's why we got it
  20. SpiracribeToday at 12:28 AM
  21. My plan is, picking this background: Banished from the Order Which asks you to pick a curse. and while researching I found this one PCs weapon changes to the next material they touch. The material I touched happened to be mithral (it exists in 4e but there is no price for making a weapon out of it? (500gp in 5e))
  22. Then apply this Mithral weapons
  23. An item made from mithral weighs half as much as the same item made from other metals. Mithral is too light to be used for Heavy weapons. If the weapon isn’t Heavy, it becomes Light. If it is already listed as Light it gains the Finesse property. If the weapon is Two-Handed it is now instead Versatile. Mithral ammunition it too light to be effective.
  24. to that Military two-handed melee weaponCost: 30 gp
  25. Damage: 1d12
  26. Proficient: +2
  27. Weight: 12 lb.
  28. Properties:
  29. High Crit (A high crit weapon deals more damage when you score a critical hit with it. A critical hit deals maximum weapon damage and an extra 1[W] at 1st–10th levels, an extra 2[W] at 11th–20th levels, and an extra 3[W] at 21st–30th levels. This extra damage is in addition to any critical damage the weapon supplies if it is a magic weapon.).
  30. Group:
  31. Axe (Axes are weapons that have bladed, heavy heads and deal vicious cuts. An axe's weight makes it fine for delivering crushing blows.).
  32. alquimistablancoToday at 12:29 AM
  33. wait wait
  34. are you just pulling shit from 5e?
  35. mithral doesn't exist as a mechanical effect in 4e, right?
  36. SpiracribeToday at 12:29 AM
  37. you can make armors/shield out of mithral
  38. in 4e
  39. alquimistablancoToday at 12:29 AM
  40. if so, please give me a book reference
  41. SpiracribeToday at 12:29 AM
  42. but not weapons
  43. alquimistablancoToday at 12:29 AM
  44. where are you getting that quote from?
  45. SpiracribeToday at 12:30 AM
  46. compendium
  47. type, mithral armor
  48. alquimistablancoToday at 12:30 AM
  49. ...
  50. that is a specific magic item
  51. Then apply this Mithral weapons
  53. THIS quote
  54. where did THIS come from
  55. SpiracribeToday at 12:30 AM
  56. from 5e
  57. alquimistablancoToday at 12:30 AM
  58. then it doesn't apply
  59. if you want to say your weapon is made of mithral, go nuts. it will have no mechanical effect because mithral as a property doesnt exist in 4e
  60. you're quoting chinese law in a european court
  61. SpiracribeToday at 12:32 AM
  62. I'll research a bit more just in case I could make it work xD
  63. alquimistablancoToday at 12:32 AM
  64. what exactly are you trying to do? make a heavy weapon light?
  65. SpiracribeToday at 12:32 AM
  66. a 1d12 one hand weapon (or I could just go with a waraxe)
  67. alquimistablancoToday at 12:33 AM
  68. yes
  69. SpiracribeToday at 12:33 AM
  70. yea, I guess I'll do that
  71. xD
  72. alquimistablancoToday at 12:33 AM
  73. a waraxe is a weapon that exists in 4e
  74. unlike mithral or Finesse or any of that
