-scene shifts to a little later, when Erin's getting dressed-

-         Erin puts on the shirt and moves outside

Finally, were you polishing yourself in there or something?

- Eva also changed to more casual clothes and slippers, ditching her cop outfit

Here, put these on - Eva gives Erin a pair of elastic socks -

I don't have slippers the size of... whatever size your built-in boots are.



	- Eva opens a door from a corridor, showing a fancier living room full of games -

We can waste a few hours here till your guardian comes to pick you up.

Goverment agents get a nice salary, almost don't know what to spend it with.
Used to live with my brother and guardian but I kinda moved out, wanted to be closer to the station, makes the job easier and all.

ERINThey have a apartment complex just for cops?

EVA
Yeah, pretty useful, no way in hell would I be able to pay for these with a cop's salary though, gave 'em every excuse in the book.

Well I guess you won't care if it's apple-flavored then, I hate those but it's cheap.

-scene comes back to Erin and Eva playing a arcade game, Erin lost

EVAThey don't care... it's hard for a Souldroid to do these things.
A long time ago, Dragoons fought using their gifts, we're warriors deep down and we crave that rush.

I don't exactly fight people with those strings every day, videogames are about the only way I can  kinda satiate that need.
When you unlock your gifts and feel that rush... you get kinda addicted to it.


ERIN
You don't do anything with your brother?

EVAHe's a nurse, guy's busy all day long, I kinda miss having him around all the time.

He's a awakened one like you and me but... I dunno, he kinda lacks that rush, I think.

Well he's the only one I've met if there are.

- Scene shifts to outside a office room in a company lab, Dr Celine walks out happy with a folder full of papers.

   -  A few kilometers away, at a Souldroid manufacturing company
CELINEFinally! Someone's willing to take in that design idea! Boy are we gonna make a mint outta that!

Wonder if I- hm? - A couple papers fall to the ground, Dr. Celine bends to pick it up and sees two purple feet, looks up to a grinning Cleo, scene ends.

- Scene shifts to a room 2 hours later, a lot of game boxes, refueling drinks and some game controllers spread about in the floor.

- Eva is only with a shirt and underwear laying on a couch drinking some more refueling drinks with Erin still getting the cheap ones sitting on a puff.

So yeah, that's why mom made my skin blue.

ERIN
Pen ink can't be THAT hard to remove...

EVA
It is when you drop asleep and blow up the damn thing in my leg, she thought it'd be funny to complete it later and make it heart shaped.

ERIN
Well you got a tatoo now I guess...
Ever thought of taking it out?

EVA
I mean... I can get a paintjob I guess but those are a pain, you gotta register mods in your body and I don't feel like doing the paperwork.

By the way, where's your guardian? She said she'd be here before 11

ERINShe called a little while ago but the traffic was kinda jammed.
She sounded weird though, kinda drowsy.

- Eva gets up and stretches

Meetings do that to you, yeah.

I'm the kinda gal who likes being out there in the fight more I guess.

Most action I've got in my life was doing some job hunting two months ago.

EVAHow'd that went?

- Eva stands up in front of Erin as he sits in the puff looking at his drink

Well I wrecked some cars, killed a bunch of flowers, broke some firefighter equipment... the usual with me.

- Erin smiles

I feel like such a clumsy kid at times...

EVA

- Eva stares at him for a few seconds as he drinks some more.
- She kneels in front of him, he opens his eyes and makes eye contact with her
- Eva goes closer to his lips as he widens his eyes

ERIN
M-ms Eva?

- Scene ends and shifts to outside the apartment, Dr. Celine in her car is speaking to a security guard -
