- My name is Martina and I work here at the academy as a Student Assistant. I’m 22 yo and study at BAAA, so I know how awesome the school is ;) I am here to introduce you to Denmark, to the academy and to answer all your questions, together with your new academy buddies.

- 24th January – In case this is your first time living in DK, the school has arranged for you a fast track procedure for your documents (residence permit and cpr number) which you need for creating a bank account, visiting a doctor or finding a job. - As we want you to have a smooth and pleasant start at our academy I organized Orientation day for you on 25th January which I strongly recommend to attend (it´s fun and useful as well) you will get to know more about Denmark, our academy and other useful info. Here is the agenda so you know what you can look forward to:
- 09:45: Arrival
- 10.00: Welcome
- 10.10: Introduction to today’s programme
- 10.30: Presentation by student and career counselling
- 11.00: Culture in Denmark and Danish classroom culture
- 11.30: Presentation by UCplus about Danish classes
- 12.00: SU - Danish state grant
- 12.30: 'How to find a job in Denmark' by a former and current students
- 13:00: How not to go bankrupt – useful tips on where to save money
- 13:30: Lunch
- 14:15: Quiz about Aarhus in out student bar
- Please don’t be late and allow some time for transport f*ck ups ;)
- The address is: Sønderhoj 30, Innovatorium on 1st floor. You can get there by busses number 4A, 6A or tram– just ask google maps
- You don’t need to take anything with you, only a pen and paper if you’d like to make some notes J
