Bio:  A knight taking pride in his heritage and his service to Kesselring- where he was born and raised- Alexander is happy to follow orders- and happier to follow friends. During a conflict, Alexander lost his teacher: something that left him with a bit of survivor’s guilt, and a further dedication to protect his allies, his comrades, and his friends.

...or, at least, that's how he was. Journeying with the crew sent to find the Kesselring Dragonstone for Prixima Kesselring -- and then turning against her as her evil was revealed, fighting his way through armies he used to fight alongside, protecting and making friends with a new set of allies, and ultimately helping to defeat the Kesselring ruler and end her ambitions. His own country turning against him provoked a crisis about what it meant to be loyal, worries ultimately soothed through his friendship with Salvatore Vaughn, a friendship that --along with fighting alongside Berebian forces-- put to rest the mistrust of Berebians that had been the result of the death of his mentor Lance, helping to finally soothe the angst and torment that had defined much of Alex's life. The war with Prixima Kesselring had rounded out Alexander's sharp edges

And then the war was over. Alexander didn't have a war to fight anymore, and the dedication to his friends through combat and protection ultimately no longer became a purpose for him to lean on. However, he had a new one to turn to: he had found perhaps unlikely love in the form of Anja during the war, dancer and vendor of fraudulent goods, and afterwards she became his wife, bearing him no fewer than thirteen children, twelve daughters and one unfortunate youngest son. In the years that followed, despite dabbling in Anja's interests, such as a brief stint in theatre, Alex primarily found his purpose in the safeguarding and guidance of his children -- and being a father further helped impart upon Alexander a maturity and poise that he had often lacked in his younger years, for all his might.

Alexander stood ready to pick up his hammer and shield once more should it become necessary, but it would take decades until he did so for real, years and years of peacefully raising his children abruptly leading into the chaos of the Magic Wars and the formidable but likely ill-fated force that was Alex's Legion, Alexander and his family fighting through apocalyptic battlefields.

Still, before that, it seemed one other strange task was before him.
