THE VEIL GUARD

The Veil Guard is an organization whose ranks are comprised entirely of Ones (whether natural-born or turned) and Twos (used as contract workers and clean-up crew). The Veil Guard do precisely that--they guard the veil which protects the Unseeing world from the true form of the Earth and its magic. The Veil Guard cares deeply for humans who are unawakened, and its enemies are those they see as spoiled, immature wielders of magic--typically vampires, mages, and even the Fae.

Due to their ingrained prejudices regarding most metahumans and mages, the Veil Guard often turns away those who need their help the most, including low-level mages, newly-turned vampires, and humans that have gained immense magical ability.
