  1. OpenMediaVault for ODROID-C0/C1/C1+
  2.
  3. Important: OMV 4 images for all ODROIDs except C0/C1/C1+ you'll find
  4. at the 'OMV 4.x for Single Board Computers' directory next to this.
  5.
  6. ODROID-C0/C1/C1+ remain at OMV 3 (Debian Jessie) for now since there
  7. is only a 3.10 kernel available which doesn't allow to install Debian
  8. Stretch (needs 3.14 at least) which is a requirement for OMV 4.
  9.
  10. Write image in a single step using Etcher https://etcher.io to SD card
  11. or eMMC using Hardkernel's adapter. When booting from SD card you can
  12. transfer the rootfs in a second step to permanently attached storage
  13. using the included nand-sata-install tool (though you need to partition
  14. first, read the below mentioned announcement thread for details first!)
  15.
  16. Notes:
  17.
  18. - No need to decompress images. Simply burn them using Etcher
  19. https://etcher.io -- Etcher decompresses on the fly, verifies
  20. burning results and thereby saves you from common SD card hassles!
  21. - OMV installation finalizes itself at first boot (network connection
  22. needed!) Please be patient since this can take up to 15 minutes.
  23. When done the board automatically reboots once and afterwards OMV
  24. is ready to be used
  25. - SSH keys are regenerated on first boot but SSH login has to be
  26. enabled in web UI prior to usage: Services --> SSH --> Permit root
  27. login
  28. - Please immediately change default passwords!
  29. - The last partition for data use will be automatically resized on
  30. first boot to use all available SD card space. Though you need to
  31. put your filesystem of choice on it (eg mkfs.btrfs /dev/mmcblk0p3)
  32. - openmediavault-flashmemory plugin preinstalled and monitoring
  33. disabled to reduce wear on SD card/eMMC.
  34.
  35. Web interface:
  36. - username = admin
  37. - password = openmediavault
  38.
  39. Console/SSH:
  40. - username = root
  41. - password = openmediavault
