Hello everyone! Did you all read the Jamil-kun interview in the November issue of PASH!?
You could really feel how much love he had for Gran and Lyria-sama...
"Any fatigue of mine gets blown away when I see the smiles of Master and Lyria-sama."
(This was the tagline used by the PASH! chief in editor)
But yeah, this is definitely what makes Jamil-kun so great. His love... His poison-checking and his desire to always be at their side. Thank you so much Granblue Fantasy and PASH!
Also I can't get enough of how Gran-kun and the rest are worried Jamil-kun. What a wonderful world...

So basically, JamiGran is great because of their deep love.

And since they're 15, which is like in between child and adult, they have this pure child-like relationship, but they'd still do daring things that would even surprise an adult... The joys of youth are great.

Jamil-kun's assumptions turn out to be... really crazy sometimes...

Stuff like how when Jamil-kun apologizes to Gran-kun for not being in the shadows at his side despite Gran-kun not minding at all really gets me.
Also that time in Chapter 821 where Jamil-kun went off on his own to assassinate someone for the sake of his master and ended up running away even though Io said for him not to. That was really moe.

That's about it.

Grancypher's Little Kitchen
- Kichiya

At that moment, the thoughts that ran through Jamil's head were the events that occurred on a late afternoon a bit after Jamil had joined the crew.

The Grancypher was big enough to be considered a small city, and along with having a main cafeteria, it also had two simple kitchens.

It was in one of these kitchens where Gran, who was Jamil's master, and Lyria were making cookies. Yaia, Sara, and Cagliostro eventually joined them as well, and soon enough there was a small group of little girls working alongside Gran. (It was at this moment that Jamil hesitated to call Cagliostro a "little girl".)

Gran was the type of person to really find himself absorbed in the act of creating things, such as making golems or utilizing alchemy. Because of this, he preferred working passionately to bake treats rather than to eat them himself, and loved having others eat them.

"Here you go, Jamil. It's still hot, so be careful."

Having been watching Gran's cooking with much interest at his side, Jamil was offerred one of the freshly baked cookies. Jamil accepted the cookie with a serious look on his face, expressed his thanks overzealously, and then proceeded to take care in wrapping it up in paper and was about to put it into his bag. Gran was so taken aback by his course of action that he ended up retorting a complaint.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! Why are you putting it away? I just finished baking it, eat it while it's fresh!"

"It'd be a waste for me to indulge myself in something you gave me right away. I must... take great care in preserving this."

"It'll just go bad if you try to preserve it, and that'd be even more of a waste! Eat it now!"

As Gran said this, he grabbed the cookie from Jamil's hand and split it into two halves, one half going into Gran's mouth and the other half shoved into Jamil's mouth.

"How is it? Is it good?"
"Y-Yes... It's very good!"

Jamil's eyes widened as he experienced the flavor of a freshly baked cookie for the first time, to which Gran nodded in satisfaction and the "girls" giggled.

"Getting to eat freshly baked treats is one of the perks Jamil-san has from always being at his side."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Jamil's thoughts returned to reality as he heard the awful scream Gran was letting out from getting one of his arms ripped off. A giant ice boulder had torn off his arm from his elbow down. The hair-raising sounds of the end of his wound freezing up could be heard.

PAGE 34:

"Ahh! Ahh! Master! Gran-sama!"

Jamil panicked and pressed against Gran's wound as to stop it from further freezing up, but his efforts were in vain as his fingers begin freezing up in the same manner.

"Cut off the captain's arm! The ice will reach his body at this point!"

Vasegara was raising his voice, but it was as if Jamil's own body had froze up as he was unable to move his body as he'd like. He would show no hesitation in chopping off his own arm, but there was no way he'd be able to do the same to his master...

"Get out of the way!"

Eustace's voice rang out like a gunshot to Jamil's ears. Flamek let out flame that blew off Gran's arm with precision.

Gran lost consciousness from the pain... Jamil was about to lift him up, but Eustace stole that role from his due to his more well-fitted physique.

Now laying on one of the beds in the Grancypher's medical office, Gran still had yet to regain consciousness.

"Rather than reattaching his arm, it might be more efficient to find a shaman to have him regrow one. It's all frozen and rotting now. Geez, if he just had let me handle it, all of this wouldn't have happened."

"I'll see if I can contact the shaman that fixed my eyes before in the past."

Cagliostro glanced at Eustace as he left the room with a fast pace, and then turned to the bed. Jamil had faithfully been at Gran's side this whole time, and was holding Gran's arm. Cagliostro outstretched his hand towards him.

"Hey, give me that arm. I'll create a spare body for Gran."

Jamil responded with a hardened expression.

"Is this arm absolutely necessary for that?"

"Well, I am a genius, after all. Just the nails alone would suffice, but with that much flesh, I could use it for all kinds of things. You get me?"

As Cagliostro looked at Jamil who was showing no signs of handing over the arm, and furrowed his brows in suspicion.

"...Then... I'm not handing it over."

Jamil ran off while still embracing the arm, which had began melting at this point.

"Huh? Then what are you going to do with that? Are you going to wrap it up and preserve it again because it's something your master gave you?"

Jamil continued to walk away as Cagliostro's voice rang from behind him. He was heading towards the kitchen where Gran had been baking cookies. Wrap it up and preserve it? That wasn't what he was thinking of at all.

As Jamil made his way to the kitchen, the words his master spoke to him repeated again and again in his head.

Gran-kun considers his efforts to be over the top and just tells him that he wants them to be friends.

I was dying for a JamiGran anthology so badly that I made one!!!! JamiGran is so cute! They're so lovey dovey! I'm glad I had various people talk about why they love JamiGran! But I want to go around asking everyone and have everyone jump onto the Jamil ship! They should have a Jamil distribution event at the same time GranBlue FES happens! And add a SSR Jamil-kun to the gacha!!! Please do it Cygames-sama, I'm begging you...

It was really fun making this book! But it was really hard to change my art style... Actually, I didn't change it at all! Help me! Why did I think I could do something like that?! I should have someone help me out next time... Uu... Uu... Uuuooooohhhh!
