  1. The main part of background reading and research was done on the question generation process. First step taken was taking a look of what software is already available and getting a sense of what the final product should feel like. The best similar tool found was an exam and quiz maker website called FlexiQuiz. The website is quite versatile. Online quizzes and standard form exams can both be made quite simply. No websites found could do what will be the main feature of this project, generating questions from templates and data. Then the second phase started where reading about the possibilities of storing the templates, data and ,most importantly, pictures. A big part of the question generation problem is the feature to enable the user to put a picture as a part of the question template or as data, in other words, the picture will be able to be placed in the question and in the answers. The main progress was done by reading GitHub posts that suggested saving pictures on a separate file system and just a file path or an URL that lead to the wanted picture should be saved in the database itself. The main reason why pictures should not be saved in the database is the drop down in the speed database respond in and the pure size of the pictures. Because of that, all the pictures used for this project will be saved to a server and just a file path will be saved in the database itself.
