VBB Version 5 available now!

PICMicros are back! What happened? Earlier versions of VBB had no license protection and were sold as a download with share-it. Before too long these paid download version made their way to the internet download sites and sales of VBB collapsed. The choice was either to stop with VBB and throw away years of work or add some sort of licensing system. As a result parts of VBB have been moved to the cloud and require license keys to access. It's not perfect, you need a full time internet connection for example, but it's better than the alternative of stopping with VBB altogether.



If you are using VBB 4.3.8 or other version and didn't pay for it then you are using pirated software. 4.3.8 is quite nice, you don't need a internet connection for example, but if you want to keep using 4.3.8 or other 4.X version I would appreciate you buy the original version from /portal/vbb/doc/Home/Shareit.png   Click to buy 4.3.8 from Shareit



Also for educational institutions. You might not realise that VBB was never free and you are using pirate software. Moving forward, VBB Version 5 uses the internet licensing system and is the development stream. There are no plans to support version 4, for example there is a compatibility issue with version 4.X on Windows 8 and also there are problems with 64 bit. So I encourage users to migrate to version 5. This will also allow further investment in the product to improve all the things that are still badly needed for everyones benefit. Documentation and Tutorials in particular.
