  30. ght to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoyin
  31. g consequences or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure"

  54. l frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted
  55. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of select
  56. ion he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures or else he endures pa
  57. ins to avoid worse pains"
