damage-less strat for fire trooper saves me some hp
fake madnar hostage replaces very risky damage for extremely out of the way hostage
saves around 1m05s to 1m10s !!

i think i'm gonna go with C.
hp going into fire trooper is irrelevant with damage-less strat, so I can take the extra gas damage.
we cut a big, risky detour for a hostage before b2 gas basement where i could take extra damage.
should save just about 1:05-1:10.
