Houseruled Advantages and Disadvantages:

Dangerous Beauty
- Gain +1k0 to the total of all Temptation skill rolls.

Benten's Blessing
- Whenever you are attempting to persuade someone, regardless of the circumstances, you gain a bonus of +1k0 to the total of the social skill roll in question. This bonus only applies to persuasion, not coercion.

Large
- Not a mechanics houserule, but a guideline for envisioning your character's height: Average male Rokugani height is approximately 5'6" to 5'8" while the average female Rokugani height is approximately 5'1" to 5'3". For comparison, Large characters are usually anywhere from 6'0" to 6'3" in height (for men) or 5'7" to 5'10" (for women).

Kuni (Ancestor)
- Doesn't abandon you unless your Shadowlands Taint rises to 1.0 or higher. Will also abandon you if you gain a Shadow rank of 1.0 or higher.

Kakita (Ancestor)
- Doesn't abandon you if you lose a duel or artistic competition. Instead, he only abandons you if you refuse an honorable challenge to a duel or artistic competition. He also abandons you if you willingly cheat or break the rules of a duel or competition.

Mirumoto (Ancestor)
- Doesn't abandon you if you lose a duel against a Kakita.

Isawa (Ancestor)
- Doesn't abandon you if you lose a magical or scholarly competition against non-Isawa. Instead, he abandons you if you refuse an honorable challenge to a magical or scholarly competition.
