- Travel hack: Put a small bag of stuff you want at your seat inside your carry-on bag. I keep one of those freebie string bags in a compartment of my backpack that has a book / magazine / ipad / snacks / water bottle / whatever in it.
- I'll usually load it up with whatever I'm in the mood for while waiting at the gate. Then when I get to my seat I pull it out and everything else goes up above. Saves legroom and avoids the limit on the count of carry-on bags you can have.
