Cats are strange ones,
little pleasant fluffy things
that live with us
and happily at that.

They mew and chirp
insistently and idly
because we can't hear
their native tongue.

They've minds of their own
trained only as they want
and really
aren't they training you?

They're lazy too,
sleeping most the day
and still more yet.
I think we can learn that.
