Frank Castle is staying in a bad neighborhood, where he encounters a gang that terrorizes its residents.
Frank Castle, a.k.a. 'The Punisher', wakes up in a run-down neighborhood and leaves his van to do his laundry. On his way to the laundromat, he witnesses a gang led by Goldtooth assaulting a group of prostitutes, but minds his own business. But when the gang mugs a boy named DeShawn, Frank goes to a convenience store to buy a bottle of Jack Daniel's and use it to club the thugs to death before crippling Goldtooth and pouring the whiskey on him for one of the prostitutes to set the gang leader on fire. Frank then collects his laundry and has DeShawn keep one of his signature t-shirts before leaving the neighborhood.
I happened to stumble across this while checking out the recent stories from Comic Con 12. Wow! Am I glad that I did. This 10 minute short is absolutely superb! <br/><br/>It&#39;s dark, gritty, dramatic and has a sense of realism to it that makes it that much more enthralling. I always loved Thomas Jane as the punisher character Frank Castle but felt that the rest of the movie wasn&#39;t done as well as it could have been. <br/><br/>This short has the atmospheric tension and drama that the movie was missing, as the street thugs continue to run rampant the suspense and tension continuously builds until it gets to the stage where we know what must be done. Punishment.<br/><br/>Also some of the shots used were just sublime, the slow motion shot of Frank Castle crossing the street while throwing the Jack Daniels bottle in the air is awesome! You forgive the poor blood effects given it was made by Thomas Jane as a fan/tribute video but by god, did they do a fantastic job!<br/><br/>Have to give a nod to the acting in general, Thomas Jane is the punisher and performed greatly as expected but the surprise appearance by Ron Pearlman was terrific and his acting as nothing but a store clerk was amazing and very convincing.<br/><br/>If you are yet to see it, do yourselves a favor and get onto YouTube to watch it! I hope that this ends up being seen by the right people and Thomas Jane gets picked up to reprise his role as the most bad-ass vigilante to grace the silver screen.<br/><br/>&quot;What&#39;s the difference between justice and punishment?&quot;
This is how Punisher 2 should look like this film has even more gore than the Original beating people up with a Jack Daniels bottle and break peoples bones that is awesome. Ron Perlman even has a cameo and Thomas Jane returns as Punisher for this 10 minutes sequel. If you loved the 2004 film you might even like this more. I hope people could bring him back for a sequel maybe a 3rd film but we know that will never happen i hope he looks like this in Marvel&#39;s Daredevil. Frank Castle has always been a very great character and this mini sequel shows that. My Final Rating is a 9 out of 10 totally enjoyable and awesome and full of R- Rated kills.
