Following the descent for several minutes you come to an enclosed room. It is circular and has stone walls, ceiling and floor. In the center is a suspended stoen platform, held by three large metal chains. The center of the stone platform is slightly more elevated than the rest.
The bottom area is identical to the above area with a single exit, though the corridor is entirely man-made and has no algae.
Chloe: 	what did the shaft itself look like? There was a lot of scampering life, was there much room?
	Blondelle Champagne: 	Blondelle looks serious; she felt nervous but tried to give the appearance of someone in control of her emotions.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The shaft is as big as the initial rooms.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The space between the center disc and the outer walls are plentiful for movement. Roughly 2.5m.
DNA: 	So the room we're descending into is identical in shape to the room we came from above from?
Kaorin Sakura: 	Yes.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Hm? Wat is dit?" Saturn mumbled, quietly to herself. Looks like she'd found something. Seemed to be some really old weapons.

	Chloe: 	"Hey look at this." Chloe said. She crouched over a small pile of ash. She had bumped something with her boots as she searched the pile and leaned down to brush off a broken sword and an old dagger.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...they seem safe to touch."
	Blondelle Champagne: 	"Hey!" Blondelle said. "I found something, too."

The old Dagger is an exceptionally small weapon. It does not modify struggle damage base or accuracy in its present condition but can be drawn and sheathed as a Swift Action.
The broken sword, however, is worth 1000 Pokedollars of scrap, that can be used for crafting (excluding inks and refreshments).

	Blondelle Champagne: 	Blondelle wonders if these weapons would have some occult importance. Perhaps they could be used for more than basic weaponry.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"The dagger looks usable, at least, so one of us should have it ready. I can offer to carry this sword, if you want."
	Chloe: 	Chloe stood up, "I have a lot of cloth in my backpack, I'm worried that sword would tear it. I can carry the dagger for now, it has a sheathe. Maybe Rochette would like it."
* Natasha tidies up the sword piecies a bit so they're not as dusty, and places them in a compartment in her purse.
	Natasha: 	She gave a thumbs-up, as if to say "I've got this!"
DNA: 	I have logged the broken sword in my inventory.

The moment all of you step into the man-made corridor, your vision lessens. Nothing seems to be blocking the vision from your eyes, but the light provided for you seems to dim. Natasha's lightsource seems to dim, giving you only half the distance of vision she was providing moments before. The temperature also feels like it dropped at least 20 degrees.
In addition to this, a somewhat black mist covers the ground, just slightly above your ankles preventing you from seeing the floor below. A faint song-like female voice echoes throughout the corridor, giving a hum-like song.
Through it you can hear the faint movement of open water beyond the corridor.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	As they walk Chloe looks out for the faint lights that had been watching them early in the cavern.
Kaorin Sakura whispers: Natasha doesn't feel like she's being watched.
	Blondelle Champagne: 	Blondelle feels safe for a moment; this is until the coldness hits her. She shivers.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"This is mildly disconcerting." Saturn wasn't as concerned about the temperature dropping, but she was concerned about the lack of light.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: It's colder at your ankles than anywhere else. So it's likely the source of the drop in heat and likely the reduction in light. It's definitely not natural.
	Blondelle Champagne: 	"The voice is coming from that corridor over there," Blondelle noted, pointing in its supposed direction.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe looked at the mist with a cold, silent expression.
	Blondelle Champagne: 	Blondelle looks to Chloe. "Are you alright, Chloe?" she asked.

This mist doesn't seem natural... but even that I can't say for certain." Chloe inhaled deeply and did her best to look assured, "But, we came down here for a reason. We can't let a little spookiness stop us."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It's either forward or run away, and we can expect a lot worse from this point on. Lets keep going." Chloe looked to the two others, waiting to see them agree before taking steps toward that voice as a group. Even as they began to walk Chloe would keep a careful eye out for any falls. "Watch the ground everyone... the mist might be hiding dropoffs. It's a long fall into some very cold water."
	Blondelle Champagne: 	"Use Ember on that Mist, Flitwick!" she ordered.

The mist is suddenly set ablaze and bursts into flames. With you standing in the mist, the flames engulf you before the entire corridor. Briefly before the hallway catches fire you can see the end of the corridor and just outside of it everything else also catches fire!
Everyone currrently in that hallway (Pokemon included) suffers 60 Special Fire Damage.
The fire burns harshly for a few moments before it all puffs away into smoke. The mist that once carressed the floor and your ankles is no more and the smell of burnt flesh, cloth and hair fills your nose.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	She will only go as far as the others will remain within visible range. If the end is not in sight by then, she will stop.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: With Natasha providing you like, you can see a winding road that was once covered in mist with a 4m drop into icy waters around it. The road leads to a spiked metallic cage with a burnt woman at its center, impaled from all angles (some less pleasant than others) at its center.
In the waters, floating at its surface unconscious, are 17 Croagunk.

The plants from before that had grown in size as you moved pass them grows again as you return, one of them completely blocking the exit while the others have grown to small size. Each is still coated in the slime you so lovingly recall.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Really glad you didn't decide to come with us, Rochette. Further down the corridor, there was this black mist that seemed to suck the heat out of the air, as well as this siren-like voice that was saying stuff like 'you can run, but you can't hide - I'll always be there'.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	(Still typing more)
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe stirs, wincing as she feels the burns over her skin. "ah- ahahah!" She gasps as she sits up.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"What happened... I remember a roar, then heat... I thought I died.."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"For whatever reason, Rochette had her Litwick try to ignite the mist. It exploded, which is what you saw, killing whoever was singing as well. Natasha and I ran further down to find out exactly who was singing. It was some woman in a spiked metal cage impaled about very uncomfortably and charred to death. She was dark haired, pale skinned, and looked like Nylora."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"So I think she was alive, until that explosion."

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...we're going to have to cut down this plant, aren't we."
	Rochette: 	"..." She kicks Blondelle lightly.
	Rochette: 	"I don't think we have any cutters. We might have to burn."
	Flitwick: 	Flitwick gets right in Rochette's face. It wags its little finger in a 'no, no, no' fashion.
	Rochette: 	Rochette blows a puff of air at Flitwick's flame.
	Blondelle Champagne: 	"Irk!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I'll have Natasha handle that, but...just to be safe, let's all keep a safe distance."
* Natasha was floating around 3m back from it, the furthest she could get.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"We have to check on her!" Chloe exclaimed, "If she's like Nylora she can't die that easy!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Chloe... I'm fairly sure she was dead. And even so, getting into the cage she was trapped in would be impossible."
	Rochette: 	"Roland can use gust alongside Natasha's burn, and push the flames and smoke away."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"It was spiked all around the outside and suspended over ice water."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"We have to try.... it's what we came here to do!"

	Blondelle Champagne: 	Blondelle finally came to; she got up and looked a lot worse for wear.
	Rochette: 	"Our primary mission was to find her location and status. We can come back and free her when we're not bleeding all over the floor."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"But what about the others! There's at least one more."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Chloe! I know you're concerned, but...look at us. We're lucky to have survived that."
	Rochette: 	"When we're not. Bleeding. All over. The floor."
	Natasha: 	"Ben je klaar? Ik ga hier!" Natasha called out, preparing to attack the plant.
Kaorin Sakura whispers: You weren't close enough to get a medical evaluation. But no normal person would have survived it, that's for sure.
	Rochette: 	"We're no help to the sisters now, and less help to Nylora if we die."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe recalled the vivillion and looked down the hall that had held the mist. "... I'm going to at least look, see for myself." Chloe ran off to the room that was said to hold the cage.

The plant cries out in pain with an ear-piercing shriek! The slime along it burns a rainbow colour before the plant itself shrinks down to the size of a pin, sizzling and lifeless.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe hears Saturn, but through all that had happened didn't have it in her to stop.

The flowers stop glowing when Saturn leaves the area. All the flowers return to their algae state.
	Rochette: 	"... Hnn."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...Truth be told, I didn't get a good enough look at the body myself. I assumed due to the scream that she was dead."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"But please don't worry us like that."
	Rochette: 	Rochette fiddles with the dagger a bit, but is careful not to drop it or put much stress on it. She'd have to get Nylora to tell her about it later.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"... I'm sorry." Chloe said weakly. "I just... she said I was a hero, I had something to live up to. I didn't want to let her down. But now that's my only choice, is to let her down, or be a burden and run off." Chloe wiped her eyes clean of whatever they may have held, "I... I'll come back with you. But I will return once I'm better. ...if she's anything like Nylora she's probably alive. Maybe just unconcious like I was."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...No. Let's finish the job. We'll go check."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"One of us is going to stay on the elevator. The other one will go forward."
* Saturn Rosewell stood on the platform.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe smiled to Saturn, "Thank you. Lets go."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe did as well.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"You stay here on the elevator; I'll be the one to go. You're in no shape to go forward."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"If anyone asks, you found her."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"...okay. You're the better medic. I trust you."
Kaorin Sakura: 	I'll skip the massive descriptions. Nothing attacks you as you descend.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	Saturn goes all the way to the end, following the path she took, until she's back at the spiked metal cage.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: She's breathing. Just unconscious. On the front of the cage is a keyhole. There's chains from the locking mechanism intertwined with every metal bar of the cage.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: You find none. But you recall one of you picked one up earlier.
Kaorin Sakura: (( Whisper, whisper ))
	Chloe Blanchett: 	As she waits Chloe fiddled with the key around her neck. It was an interesting trinket, and after all that had happened it was rather relaxing to toy with.
You whisper to Kaorin Sakura: I picked up a key earlier?
DNA: 	...
Kaorin Sakura whispers: I don't remember who did. But someone did. A key was found.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Natasha, go and get that key from Chloe! Pronto!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	She said this in Dutch, and I'm too lazy to type it!
* Natasha zipped off.

* Natasha noticed the key around Chloe's neck. She pointed at it, then held out her hand, as if asking for it.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe blinked, "Oh? Oh! Here, take it." She took the string from around her neck, handing over the key as well as the whistle that the string was fixed to.
* Natasha salutes Chloe, and with a "Danke!" zips back off again.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	When Natasha gets back, Saturn asks her to unlock the cage and try to extricate the body. Carefully. The spikes are very pointy.
	Natasha: 	Natasha will attempt to do so with VERY GREAT CARE.
	Natasha: 	She will be acting SLOWLY and CAUTIOUSLY. Focus check (2d6+4) if necessary:
The key unlocks the cage and Saturn doesn't harm herself in doing so. The chains around the rods and mechanisms pulls the cage apart and the spikes and contraptions lodged inside the woman out of her. The cage unravels itself, twisting and the metal bending until it is merely 8 smooth metal bars surrounding the woman - who slumps onto the stone ground.
The area is a circular shape, made entirely of stone and the 8 metal rods at the edges, sticking directly up and extending 6-meters up.
DNA: 	Will Saturn and/or Natasha be able to carry her back without obstruction or difficulty?
Kaorin Sakura: (( Yes. ))
Kaorin Sakura whispers: She's lighter than any of your other party members. By now, you'd know.
DNA: 	They do so! And head back to the elevator with Chloe.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe's expression brightens considerably when she sees Saturn return, "Y- You did it, you're the BEST!" She bounced where she sat in excitement.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"We'll have time for celebrating when we get back to our campsite." She stood on the platform, Natasha still sitting on her hat.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Right!" Chloe still beamed with admiration.
	Natasha: 	"Tijd om terug! We hebben geweldig!"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Yeah!" Chloe agreed. She didn't need to know what Natasha said to hear the jubilation in her voice.
Kaorin Sakura: (( You can make it back to the group with ease. ))
	Natasha: 	When they finally made it back, Natasha flashed a thumbs-up as Saturn was still carrying the other girl.
When Saturn and Chloe returns, the plants resume their bright glow but oddly do not grow in size this time around.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"... I'm sorry I was stubborn back there Saturn, and while it worked out this time... it was only because I was lucky. I'll keep everyone else in mind in the future, I have to help the team as much as I have to help others."
	Rochette: 	Once Saturn and Chloe return, she looks to Saturn. "They only glow and bloom when you're around, I think."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"It's not your fault, Chloe. You did what you believed was right."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"When...when I'M around?" Saturn asked Rochette. "You sure it's me? and not, say, Natasha?"
	Rochette: 	"I'm not. We can test."
	Rochette: 	"But it went back to algae when you left."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Natasha maybe. It might not like fire... or psychic, or aura reading." Chloe looked at Natasha, "You're really unique, you know that?"
	Rochette: 	"... It let out a scream when we burned it, though. Could you have Natasha check it for aura?"
* Natasha fistpumped the air at Chloe's comment. She was special!
	Rochette: 	"Mind-reading check for anyone we don't know about, if possible."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe smiled warmly to Natasha and nodded.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: It has a reactive aura it looks like. Upon closer investigation, it seems to be copying Saturn's aura. Almost drawing off of it.
	Rochette: 	"Trapped within or behind, potentially."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"If her prison was anything like Nylora's... I think they're used to pain. I'd go through that explosion again if it meant I would be free."
	Rochette: 	"Can you think of any other reason it'd explode?"

	Rochette: 	"Probably why they glow and bloom around you, though."
	Natasha: 	Aura Reader + Intuition to see if I can derive anything else from that.

Kaorin Sakura whispers: These plants seem to be a reactive lifeorm. It grabs from the most advanced lifeform around it and draws as much information from it as possible to further its own evolution. It seems to be drawing from Saturn for her unique physiology and considers her the most advanced life form in the area. Given enough time, they quickly begin to develop intelligence and could quickly acquire self recognition and complex problem solving in an incredibly short time. The information seems stored and when out of range of the 'resource' revert back to a dormant state.

	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Did you figure it out, Natasha?"
* Natasha nodded, but wasn't smiling. Rather than talking, she put a finger to her forehead and told Saturn another way. (Telepath)
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe recalled Nega, who wasn't providing any light at the moment. She didn't want to keep her pokemon needlessly exposed after last time.
* Saturn Rosewell gasped also, covering her mouth. For a split second, the color vanished from her eyes.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"L-Let's get out of here..."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"What is it?
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I'll tell you once we're out of this cave..."
* Saturn Rosewell started hurrying towards the exit, still carrying the unconscious woman.
	Rochette: 	Rochette and Roland start moving back to the way they first entered the cave.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	((Do we need to get through the plants?))
	Saturn Rosewell: 	(Don't think so. Natasha nuked the big one.)
Kaorin Sakura: 	They're still small size and can be avoided.

	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe ran after, starting to get concerned at how coated she had been earlier.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	When they were safely out and away from the cave, Saturn explained.
Kaorin Sakura: 	You can make it back to the cavern start. (Where you all began from that perfect hole in the cave floor).
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Okay, so according to Natasha, those plant things react to aura and try to copy it. Natasha says they try to draw off the smartest one nearby. If left to themselves for a while, they could actually develop intelligence and even develop their own kind of brain."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I don't know why they thought I was the smartest, but I didn't want them to start feeding off my brain any longer - that's why I hurried out."
	Rochette: 	"I... don't know if I should be relieved or insulted that they didn't try to copy me when you left."
	Strange Girl: 	Strange Girl squirms and groans in Saturn's arms, "Uhh-hhnnn...seconds...march into the past...the moments pass...a-and just like that...they're gone..." Her voice cracks in her unconscious state, but it almost is like she's trying to sing.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Either way it's just plain creepy...
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"O-oh..." Chloe seemed bewildered. She knew she probably wasn't the brightest, she was pretty average at everything, but being told point blank was a strange thing to hear.
	Natasha: 	"Ze wordt wakker!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I know I'm not that smart. I just don't know why they chose me..."
	Rochette: 	((can it be presumed that roland got everyone up out of the caverns safely?))

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"There are different kinds of smarts. You might just have the one they are drawn to."
	Rochette: 	"Well, most of what I do is body work, basically."
	Roland: 	Roland will ferry people up two by two, starting with blondelle and the Strange Woman.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Maybe, but...I'm just...average. Perfectly average in everything."

	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Nylora? We found someone. And... we're pretty well beaten. We're going to rest for a while before we try going down there again."
	Nylora: 	"W-What happened to you?!"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I'm really not all that special... Really..."
	Rochette: 	"The so-called god of this place confirmed that your sisters were still down there shortly into our journey. We busted one out. Blondelle set off an explosion."
	Rochette: 	"You can thank Chloe for making sure we double-checked to make sure your sister survived."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"We almost turned back, but Saturn ran back to check the area and she found her."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"All of what Rochette says is true. I think your sister was badly burnt by the explosion, but...it looks like she's still alive, and slowly regaining consciousness too."
	Nylora: 	"Selene!" Nylora cried as she rushed over to her, gently helping Saturn move her to the floor.
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Was she one of the two you thought were also found?" Chloe asked, sitting down herself.
	Nylora: 	"Thank you all for finding her."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	While it's on her mind, Saturn will apply a Potion to Natasha.
	Natasha: 	Natasha is healed for 16 HP!
	Rochette: 	"Nylora... do you know anything about this knife?" She hands over the knife with the hilt extended towards Nylora.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Or this sword?" Saturn gestured to Natasha to get out and show the broken sword.
	Nylora: 	Nylora nods to Chloe, "Yes. She's a Songstress. Her power is in weaving aura in voice."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Wow... that's amazing! She was signing such haunting songs when we were searching."
	Nylora: 	Nylora seemed to pre-occupied about Selene's condition and glanced to the weapons, "Relics of a time long since past."
	Nylora: 	Nylora blinks and turns to Chloe immediately, "She...was singing? Why? What was she saying?"
	Rochette: 	"Nothing magical or secret about them, I guess? Hm." She pockets the knife. "I'll get it repaired later."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"You can run, but you can't hide...I will always, always find you..."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Something like that."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I don't know why she was singing those things. It was a bit creepy."
* Natasha packages the sword up again.
	Nylora: 	Nylora narrowed her eyes and then looked down, "I...don't know either. She wouldn't sing if she weren't performing a miracle of some sort. But those cords of transcendential aura makes...no sense to me. I've not heard them before."
	Rochette: 	"Wasn't she saying something on the way up, too?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Seconds....march into the past...the moments pass...and just like that, they're gone."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Something about time, seconds, moments, going by. I was distracted so I didn't hear."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"That's what she mumbled on the way up."
	Nylora: 	Nylora blinks and rubs her eyes, "...I recognize that."
	Nylora: 	Nylora gently caresses Selene, "...Are you the reason everyone petrified...?"
	Nylora: 	"If you need to rest, maybe it would be best to do it in a civilized area? A place where you can rest easily?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Probably, but we still have these caves to explore, if there are any more."
	Rochette: 	"We don't really know of one that's not going to be a pain to get to and back from."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"If she's trying to sing a petrification song as she wakes up, that might not be a good idea either." Chloe shifted uncomfortably.
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"Though we could double back to Fairview if we have to, but...I'd rather not have to make more than one trip to here."
	Nylora: 	"It's not a petrification song. It's moves time. Causes our guards to petrify more quickly."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"A song of aging?"
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"...you might want to have her hold off on that, now that she's free."
	Rochette: 	"Her song about trying to find someone hiding... maybe she was trying to find the self-proclaimed god?"
	Nylora: 	"I'll make sure."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"... I see! You can't hide from time either! It might be a part of the same song!"
	Nylora: 	"What...God? As much as people want to believe, Arceus is no God."
	Rochette: 	"No. I told you earlier that someone was claiming to be a god of this place, yes?"
	Rochette: 	"A being that manifested its presence as a bunch of orbs of light. The people here were its followers."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	Chloe looked shy about her own outburst. "U-um. But we might be able to head back to fairview. We're not very far, and a town might be a good place to rest before coming back here."
	Nylora: 	Nylora 's eyes widened as she heard it.
	Rochette: 	"I think it was orbs of light, anyway... my head's still a little fuzzy from getting punched by that Hitmonchan a while back."
	Rochette: 	"It confirmed that your sisters hadn't escaped and tried to call security on us when it realized we let you out. Talked it into shutting up, but I don't think I got it to ease off the aggression entirely."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It was reb bubbles of light, they exploded in size and boomed various intimdation...things. But when they went away they didn't go entirely, they were just smaller, more well hidden."
	Rochette: 	"Was able to speak the modern tongue of kanto pokemon."
	Nylora: 	Nylora sighed, "The only followers there were of Niro. And that may only mean that Niro is still around and well. And now conscious of the on-goings."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"If he's like you, that's very likely."
	Rochette: 	"Want to tell us about Niro, then? Saturn, do you think we can keep this place secure to heal up? If not we're going back to Fairview."
	Rochette: 	"Chloe, same question."
	Rochette: 	"... Remember to factor in the possibility of Blondelle causing trouble."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"I THINK so. I've got enough medical supplies to heal 2 more people up, and I have a few bandages as well."
	Saturn Rosewell: 	"If you don't think that'll be enough, we can go back. Natasha can be a light, but she won't be very useful in combat; she's very beat up."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"No one could have predicted that would happen, it's not her fault."
DNA: 	(Natasha has 4 injuries at this point, as does Rochette.)
	Nylora: 	"We can stay here and I'll inform Selene of you if you decide to leave. She may know of things to help you if supplies are an issue."

	Rochette: 	Rochette hands over a roll of bandages to Saturn. "We'll stay."
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"Are you going to stay here even if we go back, Nylora?"
	Chloe Blanchett: 	"It' would be a good idea for us to split up like that. And..." Chloe smiled, "I'm really curious about your magic, if you're willing to teach me about it."
	Nylora: 	"I can explain it to you when you aren't busy. And we wouldn't go anywhere."
	Rochette: 	"Well, we're staying and resting. Sounds like learning time to me. Or sleeping time."
