Bio:
Mydis was born to an Astrasian peasant family as the last of four children and second of two daughters. She was not planned or wanted - but she was lucky enough to be adopted (before much else happened) by a blacksmith and his wife, who had no children of their own. She found herself luckier still seven years later, when her birth family was entirely exterminated. By choice or by accident, their village had been on the losing side of a rebellion.

There is little else of note to her. Her adoptive family raised her well, and taught her of combat and of loyalty to emperor and country, encouraging to join the military when the time came. Her biological relatives did tend to be magically gifted, but she has had little training in that vein, so cannot harness any potential she does have in an manner suitable for offensive combat.

As a person, she is often unfortunately a bit odd and a little overfriendly, but a decent sort otherwise.
