- # Doris' German Pumpkin Bread
- ## Yield
- * 2 loaves (6x9 pans)
- ## Wet Ingredients
- * 3 eggs
- * 16oz pumpkin puree
- * 1 cup vegetable oil
- ## Dry Ingredients
- * 3 cups flour
- * 3 cups sugar
- * 1 tsp baking soda
- * ½ tsp baking powder
- * 1 tsp salt
- * 1 tsp allspice
- * 1 tsp ground cloves
- * 1 tsp cinnamon
- * 1 tsp nutmeg
- ## Directions
- * Preheat oven to 350°F
- * Mix wet ingredients until oil is worked into mixture
- * Sift dry ingredients
- * Add dry ingredients and blend well
- * Grease & fill loaf pans ½ - ¾ full
- * Bake 45 min - 1 hour at 350°F
- * Let rest - bread is ready when inserted toothpick comes out clean
