  1. Q: Why do you make such a big deal about Outlast not being accepted to major marathons?
  2. A: I've put so much time into the game that I want a "proper" way to showcase it to a large audience in order to give it exposure. The best way to do that would be very big events like GDQ or ESA. Every other marathon I've performed Outlast for doesn't get as much attention. AGDQ is not an option in my case. Since I attend school currently and plan on going to college as well,AGDQ is out of the question for me until at least 2022,unless I can find some way to fit AGDQ in.

  4. Q: Why do you downplay other runs you submit that got accepted despite the fun you have with those games,as opposed to Outlast?
  5. A: Because I put a lot more time and energy into speedrunning Outlast in particular above all of my other speedgames. Most of the other games I run that I've submitted for GDQ(that could count as memegames in a sense)I feel like aren't my serious speedgames by any means. Since they really aren't,I feel I shouldn't be excited if they get into a marathon,so therefore I give them less attention. With any other game I run that I could run in a marathon besides Outlast(that isn't a silly game),I'm not good enough at.

  7. Q: Does all of this really, truly mean you can't apply your knowledge of Outlast to other games?
  8. A: I don't know myself atm, but I bet I can apply my knowledge I've gained to other speedgames.
