46. A retired and newly widowed school teacher (MacLaine), receives a life insurance check mistakenly made out for 5 million instead of 50 thousand. Her and her best friend take the vacation of their lives, while being chased by the insurance company for the wrongly denominated check. Calamity ensues in a wonderful backdrop.
 47. Everything changes for Eva when she receives a life insurance check accidentally made out for $5,000,000 instead of the expected $50 thousand. She and her best friend take the money and head out for the adventure of a lifetime.
 48. How - just how - in the world did these big name actresses agree to this garbage??? I don't even know where to start. Jessica Lange's acting would be deplorable for a middle school play. What in the world happened? Demi Moore does not manage her character, which, granted, is all over the place anyway.

What in the world?!

The writing - oh my goodness! The screenwriters must be VIPs' niece and cousin for this script to have been approved for anything other than a paper shredder. It's just AWFUL, just like everything else in this huge, pathetic failure. This isn't one of those light-hearted movies you watch so your brain can zone out, no, it's one of those movies that make you angry you wasted your time and money on another flop.

*This movie is an example of why people stream and download illegally, because this turd makes you feel totally ripped off.* Forget going to the movies. Garbage seems to be the new trend.

Examples of totally unbelievable scenes, aka a few spoilers (though the whole thing is one spoiled, stinky block of bad cheese anyway):

-Eve tells a man she's just met where her safe is AND where the code to the safe is. -Eve + her crew go to a major mobster's house to get her money back. The mobster is a dud and turns out to be the main character's ex student. Seriously. -Eve's daughter not only believes a complete stranger's claim that he works for her mother's insurance company but actually goes as far as to get on a plane to Spain with the man - all without confirming his identity. Like, WTF!

All I can think of is "The Producers," because maybe the producers of this movie and the actors are making money from producing this garbage. There's no other explanation.
 49. I wasn't quite sure what to make of this movie. At first, I thought it was supposed to be a comedy. A woman wins millions from an insurance mistake and takes her best friend on a tropical vacation. Sounds funny, right? The start of the movie is a funeral; the attendants give awkward condolences to the widow and the two leads' lives are shown in a depressing downward spiral. Sounds sad, right? Trust me and stick with Wild Oats. It's funny, but has some sad situations. After all, the movie's opener shows a funeral and an unfaithful husband. Shirley MacLaine is always delightful, and it's truly unbelievable that she's in her 80s with so much energy to pour into this role. Jessica Lange still looks beautiful, and her girlish flirtations are as charming as ever. Demi Moore is a little silly in her throwaway part as Shirley MacLaine's daughter, but it's not that great a detriment to the overall movie.

Think of it as a Thelma and Louise for seventy-year-olds, and get ready for a very fun adventure!
