Yotsuyu Yagiyama Moveset (By Kite and wet paint)

Yotsuyu Yagiyama Concept BY: Kite AND wet paint

Style: Stand /Rock Human
Yotsuyu Yagiyama would rely heavily on switching between stand off and stand on. Stand off Yotsuyu would mostly be using his rock human abilities in a defensive manner whilst his stand on mode would be more aggressive and offensive. His HHA is also a great way to turn the tables and to really get in there to beat the opponent up.

His Soff normals would not involve I Am a Rock in any way,as they'd be mostly regular attacks like fairly defensive kicks and punches, while his SOn normals would consist of miscellaneous punches with I Am a Rock(No real kicks due to the stand having big bouncy balloon legs). He would also get a 3H special while in SON (“Not soft… Not wet, either.”) where Yotsuyu bends forwards and headbutts the opponent for an overhead. This can be combod into and out of like most command normals.
Unique mechanics:
“It’s absolutely impossible for you to be released!”
After making a direct hit with some specials the opponent will receive the mark “Touched” which can be seen above Yotsuyu’s meter. All normals will also make the opponent “Touched” while the HHA is active.

Stand off specials:

22A-“His body was like stone…”
Yotsuyu Yagiyama fully turns into his rock form. Returns to normal upon pressing any attack button. While being used, Yotsuyu will take 75% reduced damage and will not be knocked down, but he cannot use any attacks while in this state. Will deal a small bit of damage to the opponent for all physical attacks they deal due to them punching a rock (this does not affect enemies if they use projectiles).

236A-“I will obtain it.” (While using “His body was like stone…” or while downed)
Yotsuyu Yagiyama will become a rock if he isn’t in his rock form already, merge with the ground and appear behind the opponent. L, M, H will change the distance travelled with H being the furthest. If he appears right under the opponent and hits them as he rises, they will be knocked down. This emerging hit is a LOW hit and blockable.

623A-“It’s better to be fun than hard… Right?”
A command grab, range and time of activation scales with L, M, H with H being the longest reaching but the slowest to activate. Yotsuyu Yagiyama pulls out a thin silicon based membrane out of his eyes and covers the victims face. He then pulls out a pitcher full of water and pours it on their face, essentially water-boarding them. This can be combod into.

Stand on specials:

22A-“There’s a ton of them!”(While the opponent is “Touched”)
Either chestnuts, dunks of pesticide or large flower pots fly towards the opponent at high speeds, which object is sent depends on which attack button is pressed. 22L gives chestnuts, these do a quick 3 hit multihit attack but do not knock down the opponent. 22M gives bottles of pesticide which on contact do poison damage for 3 seconds. 22H gives large flower pots which shatter on impact and do great damage to shields. If they connect, these pots are a hard knockdown. These can all be blocked but come out quickly making it hard to react. They can also be combod into.

214A -“VOOOOOOORUUURRRRRRRRGAAARRRRRR”
Rocks from all directions fly towards Yotsuyu, stopping just before they hit him and falling to the ground (Yotsuyu is stuck in an animation during this entire attack, similar to Vanilla Ice’s 22A). This attack can not be avoided and must be blocked. The rocks come from the outskirts of the stage all around meaning sidestepping will not work and they come from behind the opponent. It takes about three seconds from the activation for the animation and attack to be over.

236A-“THE DEATH DODGER IS YOU!!”
The stand punched repeatedly in a very close range. The activation time and range scales with L, M, H respectively with H being the longest reaching and the slowest to activate. The more you mash, the longer the duration of the attack with a maximum 3.5 seconds. Due to “It’s absolutely impossible for you to be released!” the opponent becomes “Touched”.
623A-“I put you between some rocks and killed you!”
A command grab. Range and time of activation scales with L, M, H with H being the longest reaching but the slowest to activate. I Am a Rock shoots out in front of Yotsuyu and grabs the opponent. In a short cutscene, several big rocks come in from left and right and crush the target. Due to “It’s absolutely impossible for you to be released!” the opponent becomes touched.

HHA - “He’s made of stone… And he can move…”
Has a second of chargeup where Yotsuyu can be hit and it will cancel the activation. If cancelled, he will still lose one bar of meter. When activated, Yotsuyu will become his rock form but still be able to move around. He will not be as fast or be able to jump as high, though he will be taking 75% reduced damage and will not be able to be knocked down / crumpled. During this time, all normals if they make contact directly will lead to the opponent being “Touched”. The HHA drains one bar during 10 seconds and when the bar is fully drained, he goes back to normal.

GHA: -“I am a rock. I am an island.”
Activation is a few rocks that fly in from behind the opponent, not too far away, if they hit the opponent the cutscene starts (can be blocked). The rocks catch the opponent and carry him to Yotsuyu as he does a stand rush essentially pinning them against the approaching rocks. Other rocks, chestnuts and bottles of pesticide fly in and cover the opponent as Yotsuyu says his iconic “I am a rock. I am an island.” The final hit after this are big flower pots which fly into the opponent and shatter upon impact. (This final hit is where the “KO” screen shows up).
