- >using biplanes in 2021 in the era of radar tracking, IR/thermal optics, SPAAG's, SAM's, laser range finders and computer assisted targeting
- -
- It's hell, it's probably protected by a magic shield or some shit

- Magic F-15 Strike Eagle > Magic Biplane from 1922

- Talking seriously, how would be the issue of firearms and explosives in hell.
- Would they be something scarce and difficult to obtain or would it be something so common that even the baby has a Smith & Wesson revolver as his toy
- -
- I'd say its the later, since i'd wager that a huge chunk of people in hell are soldiers or law enforcement of some kind
- -
- FIM-92 Stinger vending machines next to the demonic equivalent of /k/harlie and the munitions factory

- >IMP bickering about whether or not some kind of explosive weapon is worth investing in
- >Anon volunteers to make the choice, insisting on his understanding of what is good and what isn't
- -
- >Anon the modern day vet gets hired as IMP's new temp
- >Absolutely crushes any assassination mission because he isn't using retarded guns

- I feel like guns and weaponry in general must be very common in Hell. But at the same time, the amount of magical bullshit must be high. Considering if they weren't, more modern sinners would immediately kill all the old overlords
- >Anon the GWOT vet going Taxi Driver on Valentino
- -
- It's a difference in power scaling I think.
- Angel have ballistic weapons, spears, I presume things like harpoons etc.
- Demons have different weapons, I doubt you take what's with you if you were a soldier when you died. I feel it's a lot of make do and mend. Not as if demons have access to projected energy weapons, or particle intensive weaponry.
- Sure, demons who died in the last 20 years may have knowledge of IED's, drones, laser sights, thermal optics, armour piercing bullets etc, but it's getting the technology from around Hell to construct them, and even then, you've got a limited supply of ammunition to use them with before you have to manufacture more. As to the point of >>36481586, most Overlords tend to keep up with the times. The only one we've been shown so far to reject modernity and embrace tradition would be Alastor, who hates all technology after his death. The rest surely would have kept tabs on technological developments when new sinners arrive in Hell.

- Didn't Sir Pentious have a laser cannon on his airship?
- And I don't think a resource shortage is really an issue in Hell, and with the amount of inventors and with some Hell magic, I can't imagine making something like a heat seeking missile would be too difficult.

- What types of guns would Niffty use and why are they all comically large?
- -
- She's from the '50s, so she'd likely have an army surplus, or a double barrel for home defense.
- Possibly even a lupara, which, despite being sawn ridiculously short (and fitted with blunderbuss-like funnels at the end for kicks), is still the same size as her body.
- -
- A Smith & Wesson Model 29 in .44 Magnum.
- -
- 12 Guage Stoeger Coachgun, aka My Boomstick
- Why?
- Because it'd be really funny watching her nearly fall over every time she fired it.
- -
- >it'd be really funny watching her nearly fall over every time she fired it.
- She would go flying and you know it
- -
- >it's even sawed off, right down to the foregrip, and equipped with funnel-like ends that make it resemble some sort of fucked up double-blunderbuss
- >it's still larger than her torso
