  1. General requirements:
  2. - You must speak English
  3. - You need to have a microphone and be able to use voice chat
  4. - You need to be available from 1 PM US Central Time/UTC-6 until 5 PM US Central Time/UTC-6 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  5. - You must be able to reliably attend. Unless it's an emergency like you or someone close to you is in the ER or so sick you can't get to the computer, I expect you to be there. This is non-negotiable and if you don't think you can adhere to this
  6. - You need to be able to be polite and not try to talk over others. This is a more lax rule but having manners in general is a requirement.
  7. - You need some sort of avatar that is entirely SFW. Not suggestive, not almost SFW, SFW. I'm not getting my Twitch and Youtube banned over this. I need these to identify the players so we don't have to use webcams as I don't own one.
  8. - You need to follow TTRPG etiquette. This means no rolling unless you ask and get approval from the GM (me) first, don't randomly get up (take care of any business you have to such as food or the restroom beforehand) and wander off, and if there's background noise in your home use push to talk.
  9. - Do not have off-topic discussions just because nothing is happening. Instead, focus on having in-character dialogue.
  10. - GM has the final say. Don't argue with the GM.
  11. - No one person is the "main character". As a result, don't be a spotlight hog - if I'm clearly focusing on someone else, don't butt in and try to steal their thunder. Wait your turn you impatient Zoomer.
  12. - We will be rolling open - which means you should make wise use of Inspiration because if you don't it can lead to bad things happening to your characters. Humans might not die - but digimon can.
  13.
  14.
  15. Game-Specific Rules:
  16. - We will be using DDA 1.4 RAW.
  17. - You must run your Digimon choices by me first. Millenniumon and similarly world-ending threats are not allowed. This is a gray area, so again speak to me about it first.
  18. - We will *not* be using Twin Partner rules, Armor Evolution, Jogress Evolution, or Hybrid Evolution. Slide Evolution will be allowed RAW however.
  19. - We *will* be using the Skills Expansion.
  20. - I expect your Character Sheets to be completed a week in advance of the actual game staring. No last-minute nonsense.
  21. - Dark Evolution will be included - but it will happen due to roleplaying and character reasons, at GM discretion. Failed Torment Checks of 0 or less during Combat will always result in a Dark Evolution - but do NOT use this as an excuse to force torments where they don't belong.
  22. - Game is using the ENHANCED Tier of play.
  23. - Your human can be anywhere from age 12 to age 18. As with gender/sex, do not play an age you cannot roleplay comfortably.
  24. - The Human Stat/Skill split will be a maximum of 18/22; you can go as low as 20/20 if you like, but you cannot have less than 20 points or more than 22 points in Stats or Skills unless it is because you have allocated a point or two to Torment Boxes at Chargen.
  25. - We WILL be using the Variant Rule for Inspiration alongside normal Inspiration rules. In the event nobody has received Inspiration from me, the GM, during a session, the players will then take the Variant inspiration rules into their hands.
  26. - Evolution is tied to character development, roleplaying, and the narrative we're telling together. That said, when you meet the RAW requirements you CAN keep a digimon at a higher stage. As for evolution after unlocking it, if you evolve mid-fight and then get knocked down due to damage, you cannot evolve again during that fight.
  27. - You can, however, evolve backwards and forwards as often as you like - just know that if you devolve and then evolve again after evolving once during combat, you treat it as Slide Evolution. That means that rather than healing Wound Boxes, you transfer the Current WOund Boxes to the stage you're evolving to as long as its Total Wound Boxes are higher. For example, if ExVeemon had 10/14 Wound Boxes and Veemon had a maximum of 11 Wound Boxes, if ExVeemon reverted to Veemon he would have 10/11 Wound Boxes. Upon re-evolving into ExVeemon, he would have 10/14 Wound Boxes Again provided Veemon took no damage in between turns.

  29. Game Advice (Not Rules):
  30. - Don't play a character(s) of the opposite sex/gender unless you are comfortable doing so. If you do so, do NOT do the "high pitched/squealy" voice for a female as a male or anything similar for a male character as a female. Focus on your tone, and look up guides on Youtube if you've got the chops to do this.
  31. - There will be a lot of travel in this game. Expect Survival rolls from time to time, and expect to deal with Random Encounters.
  32. - This will be a slightly open sandbox; that is, while your characters have goals larger than their personal goals (and alongside them; these large goals are not replacements for personal missions after all) you will have flexibility in how you finish them and in what order. Still, it's best to keep in mind that you can't gain greater power without being put to the test...
  33. - Try to keep Torments to the minimum required; loading a character with torments is a bad idea. The sooner you finish them, the more likely they are to come up in a more natural way.
  34. - Nobody is the "main" character. You'll get your chance to shine, let other people have theirs.
  35. - Don't skew your mechanical builds too hard - I will take advantage of your weaknesses.
  36. - It's nice to see characters whose mechanics line up with their personality. I might not give you mechanical benefit but brownie points with the GM is never a bad thing.
  37. - If someone else has the same digimon idea as you, I expect you to talk it out like adults. If you can't come to an agreement, you can then both come to me and I'll see if I can't help people sort their stuff.
