Hazy Kitty


Hazy kitty,
Sleepy kitty,
Trancey ball of fur;

Patting gently,
Scritching softly,
Listen to the purr;

Dangle string and
Watch it swing,
See the kitty sway;

Eyes will follow,
Mind goes hollow,
Thoughts will melt away;

Oh, down she goes,
Her body froze,
Mind, a melty mess;

Deeper asleep,
Suggestions seep,
Words, they brand their crest;

Tingly and dazed,
The words, they praise,
Oh, such a good girl;

Command, to play,
“I will obey,”
The plan, has unfurled;
