  1. I am going to attempt to summarize the Pokémon SV timeline into two parts; past and present.
  2.
  3. Past (Heath visits Area Zero & his return)
  4.
  5. Heath embarks on an expedition to Area Zero. At some point during his travels, he encounters the disc Pokémon, who manipulates him into writing a series of equations and schematics. He returns to the surface, and begins selling his discoveries as a book.
  6. Much of the Pokémon described in his stories did exist, however he played up the Pokémon descriptions to make them appear more interesting (Iron hands being a mortally wounded athlete, Scream Tail being a billion years old.) Written down in paper, the Pokémon along with various discoveries would lay dormant, falling into thrift shops, and obscurity. Years later, the Professor would discover the book and become fascinated with its stories.
  7.
  8. Present (Sada/Turo and their research)
  9.
  10. S/T have had ownership of the book for awhile at this point. They take several expeditions into Area Zero with a large crew of associates, including Director Clavell. During S/T’s time in the crater, they eventually discover tera crystals, and use the power imbued to develop tera orbs, funding their research. Eventually, something changes.
  11. S/T changes. They’ve had contact with the discmon and at some point, isolated themselves in the crater. They’ve begun working on the Time Machine, coaxed by the disc to follow Heaths blueprints, now that the science and knowledge is at their disposal. They eventually are granted the first Raidon. The Pokémon came from the self proclaimed Time Machine. This Pokémon is a child of the disc mons power. The power of imagination. This Pokémon could not create life before the professors intervention, due to its lack of access to crystal energy.
  12. The Time Machine was built to inadvertently give the disc mon more power. It isn’t a Time Machine, it’s an amplifier. It feeds the disc Pokémon strength to complete a task. You could call it a TM. The professor will continue to generate more Pokémon based off the book, eventually groomed into creating a defense matrix for the Time Machine, to prevent anyone from cutting the Pokémon’s primary source of energy. This protocol paired nicely with an existing creation of the professor, his replacement lab assistant and later caretaker, the AI professor. This AI would have a permanent backdoor from the Paradise Protection Protocol, making it an excellent weapon in the event of danger.
  13. Later on, the professor would bring in another Pokémon, a second Raidon. This creature however, would be deemed agressive, eventually killing the original professor during a territorial struggle. This could have been by design, as the disc mon had no more incentive to keep them alive. The professor is explicitly mentioned to have thrown itself into danger, an irrational and foolish thing for a professor to do.
  14. The machine was built, and the power of imagination was now made available. The AI professor would remain in Area Zero, unable to leave due to his connection to the crystal. The AI is imbued with S/T’s memories. Almost all of them. It was created however, before the professor was corrupted by the disc. This is made clear because it has no understanding of what the professor is doing. It rejects the professors desire of releasing paradox Pokémon into the rest of Paldea.
  15. The AI is a pure version of the professor, who still has his sanity.
  16. They proceed to begin to contact people for help, knowing that the professor locked the Time Machine with the S/V book.
