SCENE ONE
GREEN SQUADRON FLIES IN FROM SUN. REBEL FIGHTERS AMBUSH A CONVOY. BOMBS OBLITERATE CONVOY QUICKLY, CHOATICALLY SCATTERING SHIPS. SHUTTLE TRIES TO FLEE. HOMING BEACON LOCKS ONTO FLEEING SHUTTLE.

GREEN LEADER
“Green boys lock S-Foils in attack position.”
“The munitions convoy is dead ahead.”

GREEN TWO
“Got a lock on the munitions convoy.”
“They don’t see us coming.”
 “I’m reading enough bang to obliterate an entire system’s defenses in there!”

GREEN LEADER
“Let’s take it out then. Fire at will!”

GREEN TWO
“That shuttle is making a run for it!”
“Locked and… Homing beacon away.”
“Hopefully that coward will prove useful!”









SCENE TWO
BLUE SQUADRON PREPARES FOR QUICK STRIKE IN ASTEROID FIELD. THE PILOTS EXPECT LITTLE RESISTANCE/MINOR TARGET. HYPERSPACE TO TARGET.

BLUE LEADER
“One of our strike forces managed to tag a military shuttle. We’re still getting a signal so with some luck this will lead us straight to its command ship.”
“You know the drill. Don’t waste time with any fighters. Go for the weak points and run. If we need to use the signal, keep our guys safe as long as you can.”
“Don’t worry. We’re not expecting much beyond a frigate from the data we’ve got.”

SCENE THREE
STRIKE COMMENCES. CAMERA PANS FROM FIGHTERS TO SIZABLE FLEET OF SEVERAL DESTROYERS AND FRIGATES. SHUTTLE FROM PREVIOUS SCENE IS ESCORTED AND DOCKS WITH DESTROYER. BLUE SQUADRON EMERGES FROM HYPERSPACE.
BLUE TWO
“Dropping out of Hyperspace now.”
“That’s a bit more than we bargained for!”

BLUE THREE
“Oh boy…”
“I don’t think we have enough ordinance for that!”

BLUE LEADER
“It’s too late to back out now. Strafe the escorts and go for that swarm.”
A DOZEN TIE FIGHTERS SCRAMBLE AND MOVE TO INTERCEPT BLUE SQUADRON. REBEL FIGHTERS FLY PAST ESCORT CRAFT TOWARDS CLOSEST DESTROYER, NOT LINGERING ON ANY TARGET AND ONLY AVOIDING FIRE. REBELS TAKE MINOR HITS BUT NO LOSSES. THE REBELS DRAW THE IMPERIAL FIGHTERS AWAY FROM THEIR FLEET.
BLUE TWO
“Their fighters are scrambling.”

BLUE THREE
“Jamming their targeting now.”

BLUE LEADER
“Send the signal and put all power to your engines!”

BLUE THREE
“I’m hit! Just a scratch!”
BLUE TWO
“Jink!”
SIGNAL IS SENT AND QUICKLY RECEIVED AS NEARBY REBEL SHIPS JUMP INTO THE FRAY. THE NEW ARRIVALS ATTACK THE DEFENSELESS FLEET, DESTROYING THE SHIELD GENERATORS OF A DESTROYER. THE TIE, PANICKED AND TRYING TO DEFEND THEIR COMMAND SHIP, TURN BACK ONLY TO BE SHOT FROM BEHIND AS BLUE SQUADRON FLANKS THEM.

BLUE TWO
“The Ties are turning around!”

BLUE THREE
“It’s too late now!”

BLUE LEADER
“Now make them pay!”
“Beautiful work Blue group!”

STRIKE LEADER
“Strike group ready to bring the pain!”
“Looks like you boys could use some help.”
“Let’s bust their balls!”

BLUE LEADER
“Good to see you Strike Leader!”

STRIKE LEADER
“Destroyer Alpha’s shields are down!”
“Cover us while we make our run!”
REBEL FIGHTERS HARASS THE FLEET AND MOP UP THE HOSTILE FIGHTERS WHILE STRIKING THE LARGER VESSELS. THIS DOES NOT LAST LONG AS A FRESH WAVE LAUNCHES, SUPPORTED BY INCOMING CAPITAL SHIPS. THE REBELS QUICKLY FINISH OFF THEIR TARGETS OR LEAVE THEM PARTIALLY DAMAGED. THE ENGINES OF THE DAMAGED DESTROYER BEGIN TO SPUTTER OUT.
STRIKE LEADER
“Get this interceptor off me!”
“I can’t shake this squint!”
“Thanks… good shot.”

BLUE TWO
“We got incoming from the other destroyers!”
BLUE LEADER
“Wrap it up fast, we can’t sustain this fight.”
“Make your way to the exit point and take out what you can!”

BLUE THREE
“I’m reading a temperature spike. That destroyer is going to blow!”

BLUE LEADER
“Shunt power to engines and rear shields!”

BLUE TWO
“Get clear!”

AS REBEL FIGHTERS FORM UP AND PULL AWAY THE DESTROYER’S POWER CORE FLASHES AND DETONATES, WIPING OUT NEARBY IMPERIAL CRAFT IN THE SHOCKWAVE. REBEL FIGHTERS PULL AWAY AS THERE ARE STILL SEVERAL UNDAMAGED VESSELS IN THE AREA. THE PILOTS CELEBRATE AS THEIR LOSSES WERE MINIMAL AND THEIR TARGETS OF OPPORTUNITY DESTROYED.

BLUE THREE
“Now that’s a pretty picture!”

BLUE LEADER
“Fine work gentlemen.”
