- “Ugh...”
- Addie groaned as she walked towards her house. Work for her was rough that day, she had an unusually demanding client that made her clean every corner of the house twice over. Plus throughout the day, she kept experiencing sharp stomach cramps that made it difficult to bend over in harder to reach places. After such a long day, all Addie wanted to do was unwind and read a book by herself.
- One problem though, she decided to let Rayas, her ex-girlfriend and ex-roommate, stay for the week while Hayden and Cedar were out of town. It wasn't that she didn't like Rayas, the two remained close friends and still enjoy spending time together, but Rayas was a total slob. Being a maid, Addie prides herself on her cleanliness and tried to keep her home spotless. Rayas, on the other hand, was never really much of the mindful type. When she first arrived to Addie's apartment, she tried to make an effort to be more polite. But now that Rayas had stayed for a couple days, she began to get a little too comfortable. She started lazing around on the sofa more, accidentally getting Dorito crumbs everywhere while she binged Netflix.
- Addie was used to minor messes and didn't mind cleaning up after Rayas though, after all she still enjoyed cleaning. What Addie did mind, however, was the smell. As Rayas made herself at home, she stopped holding her gas in and the seemingly constant amount of junk food Rayas ate meant that Addie was frequently subjected to Rayas's foul-smelling belches and farts. Back when the two were roommates, Addie didn't mind Rayas's gas as much. As long as she was paying rent, she could stink up the place as much as she wanted, as much as Addie preferred she didn't. But now that it was her own home, Addie's patience she was growing thin. She already tried lighting several incenses, but Rayas's stench was strong enough to quickly overpower any pleasant fragrances in the room.
- “Well at least I'm home now,” Addie muttered quietly to herself as she approached the apartment complex. Addie briefly wondered what Rayas had been doing while she was at work, but figured that it was another day of watching TV and eating chips. She knew Rayas had a job of her own, though she couldn't remember where. Since Rayas arrived, however, Rayas never had to leave for work. Although with how much the skunk lounged around all day, Addie was more surprised she had a job to begin with and just assumed she had been laid off. Maybe that's why she needed to stay with Addie, anyway.
