- You are an unremarkable office worker at a large corporation. You are sitting
- in your cubicle working on TPS reports. You turn around and see a young woman
- with long blonde hair wearing a business suit walking towards you. She is about
- your age, but looks to be in her early twenties.
- "Hello," she says. "I'm Mary".
- "Mary," you reply
- > Ask Mary how she likes the current weather
- "It's nice out today".
- "Really?" you say.
- "Yeah, it's been pretty warm lately".
- "How come?"
- > Ask Mary to explain solar radiation
- "Solar radiation". Mary replies.
- "What does that mean?"
- > Listen to Mary's explanation
- Mary begins explaining about the sun and its activity. She says that it is currently
- in a phase of maximum heat, which means that it is producing more energy than
- it is using. This cycle will eventually end, but not until the sun has consumed
- all the fuel on its surface
- > Cry softly while thinking about mortality
- You continue to listen as Mary continues her lecture.
- > Interrupt to ask Mary what she's doing here
- "I'm here because I want to help you".
- > Ask Mary what she can help with
- "Well, I could teach you some things about healing magic, or maybe even how to
- create your own spells".
- > Tell Mary you don't know magic and you only want to finish your TPS reports
- "Oh, okay then, but I really need to get back to work".
- > say goodbye to Mary
- You turn around and walk away from Mary, who seems surprised by your sudden change
- of attitude. You go home and spend time with your family, but nothing much happens.
- You think about going back to school for a bit, but decide against it. You have
- enough trouble at work already
- > Decide to leave town and become a drifter
- The next day, you pack up your belongings and head towards the nearest town.
- As you drive through the countryside, you notice that there are fewer people
- walking around. The towns seem deserted. You begin to wonder if this is a sign
- that the world is ending
- > Search for people
- As you travel further into the wilderness, you see no one else around. It would
- appear that everyone has left the area. You look behind you several times, but
- nobody is in sight. Your heart sinks when you realize that you may never find
- anyone else like yourself again
- > Stand in the wilderness and cry for six hours
- You sit down on a rock and begin to cry. You feel so alone, lost and scared.
- You begin to pray to whatever god you believe in, but you cannot remember any
- details of your prayers. All you know is that you must find someone soon before
- the world ends
- > Run through the wilderness calling out for anybody
- You quickly run through the woods, calling out to anyone that might be nearby.
- Nothing comes to mind, so you give up and return home.
- > Search home
- You enter your house and start searching for clues. You find nothing suspicious,
- so you conclude that you've made a good decision in leaving town. You spend
- the rest of the week trying to relax and forget about your troubles
- > Wait for the end of the world
- After a few days pass, you begin to worry again. You're sure that something bad
- will happen soon, but you still have hope that it won't. You keep waiting for
- the apocalypse, hoping that it will come sooner rather than later
- > Drink a beer and wait for the apocalypse
- You wake up and take a long drink from your beer. You hear a loud noise outside,
- and rush downstairs to investigate. You open the door and see a large explosion
- in the distance. A small mushroom cloud rises high into the sky, and you immediately
- vomit
- > Stare at the mushroom cloud
- You stare at the mushroom cloud for several minutes, trying to make sense of
- what just happened. Then, you realize that you were right; the world did indeed
- end. You look at the mushroom cloud and weep silently
- > Run toward the explosion
- You run toward the explosion, screaming at the top of your lungs. You try to
- reach the bomb shelter, but you're too far away. You scream for help, but nobody
- hears you over the sound of the explosion
- > Become irradiated
- Your screams attract the attention of other survivors. They surround you and
- attempt to put you out of your misery. You struggle desperately, but they overpower
- you and force you to their campfire. There, you're forced to watch as they eat
- each other alive
- > Destroy the other survivors with radiation powers
- You refuse to accept the fact that you'll die, so you use your powers to kill
- every single survivor in the campfire. After a few moments, you collapse from
- exhaustion. You lie motionless on the ground, unable to move. You slowly fade
- away..
- > Refuse death
- You remain motionless, refusing to let death touch you. Death approaches, but
- you refuse to succumb to it
- > Stare into Death's eyes
- Death approaches, but you refuse to succumb to it. Death approaches, but you
- refuse to succumb to it. Death approaches, but you refuse to succumb to it.
- Death approaches, but you refuse to succumb to it. Death approaches, but you
- refuse to succumb to it
- > Stand up and scream for Mary
- You stand up and scream for Mary. You run outside and shout for her. Nobody answers,
- so you call out for her repeatedly until you finally lose patience and storm
- off into the night. You spend the rest of the night pacing back and forth in
- your room, crying and sobbing
- > Say "What am I going to do? I'm nuclear powered and alone!"
- You continue to cry and lament your situation. You begin to think about what
- you should do next. You think about your future and how you'll survive the coming
- apocalypse. You think about your family and how you'll raise them. You think
- about your friends and how you'll mend fences
- > Remember that the apocalypse already happened
- You stop and think about your past life. You recall the day you first saw the
- bomb, and how you reacted. You think about the people you killed and how you
- felt about it. You remember the lives you destroyed and how you hated it
- > Walk back to the office
- You walk back to the office, where you find Mary sitting at her desk. She looks
- up and smiles at you
- > Ask Mary how she survived the apocalypse
- Mary stares at you, unsure of how to respond. You explain that you witnessed
- the bomb being dropped and that you watched it explode. You explain that you
- witnessed the bombs exploding and you watched it explode. You explain that..
- > Demand to know how Mary survived
- Mary stares at you, speechless...speechles
- > Say "I don't know what is happening! Mary, what is happening?"
- Say "I don't know what is happening!"
- :
- > Sit at desk and cry
- You cry for two days.
- You cry for three weeks.
- You cry for four months.
- You cry for five years
- > Realize I have become immortal
- You cry for ten years.
- You realize you are now an old man.
- You cry for twenty years.
- You realize you are now a ghost.
- > Search for Mary's ghost
- You find her in the forest.
- You ask her how she survived the apocalypse.
- You tell her everything that has happened since then.
- You ask her if she is okay.
- > Listen to Mary
- You ask her if she wants to go back to the office.
- You ask her if she wants to stay here.
- You ask her if she wants to live forever.
- > Grant Mary eternal life
- You ask Mary if she would like to be immortal.
- You grant Mary immortality.
- You ask Mary if she would like to join you.
- You grant Mary immortality.
- > Dissolve ghost body
- You dissolve soul.
- You disappear forever
- > Look around
- You are gone
- > Say "Where am I?"
- You are gone
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowhere
- You are nowher
