  21.
  22. Cheryl:
  23. What's a weekend?
  24.
  25. ThatBaka:
  26. it's that thing you do at the end of a week
  27.
  28. ThatBaka:

  31. ThatBaka:

  34.
  35. Warra:
  36. yes I understand if nobody remembers
  37.
  38. Rosalinda :
  39. I can drum....? : D
  40.
  41. Arcade Fire:
  42. I'M A PINBALL WIZARD IT HAS TO BE A TRICK
  43.
  44. Cheryl:
  45. MV-fuckin'-P of that practice. As expected.
  46.
  47. Lucy:
  48. My shining radiance will be sure to shine down on every persons
  49.
  50. Slash:
  51. (You) gotta believe!
  52.
  53. Ladd:
  54. Maaaaan
  55. AND NOW
  56.
  57. ThatBaka:
  58. Right, so we need a bit of setup here
  59.
  60. ThatBaka:
  61. Charlotte likewise went off to go fug with Darius and....huh, that's really it
  62.
  63. ThatBaka:
  64. Of course, you eat your pizza and there is much rejoicing...however after a while, I guess around the same time that Charlotte leaves, Ladd too makes for someplace outside, looking a bit discomforted, and speaking of things he had to "take care of"
  65.
  66. Cheryl:
  67. Cheryl lets out a sigh, "I love to give that guy shit, but I worry about him sometimes." With a shrug, the red-head tosses a pizza box onto the vaguely overfilled trashcan, "Not a whole lot that can be done though unless he asks for help."
  68.
  69. Rosalinda :
  70. "Hmmm...yeah, but at least he seems to be okay..."
  71. Rosalinda : (( what time is it ingame? ))
  72. Lyric: (( about eh eh I guess 6-ish ))
  73.
  74. Cheryl:
  75. "Heh, believe me, that ain't okay. I'm a bloody fuckin' master at pretending to be 'okay', so I know when people are fakin' it."
  76.
  77. Lyric:
  78. Lyric crudely stuffs down the overflowing garbage tin in an attempt to keep the place at least slightly more in order. "Perhaps it's the usual trials and tribulations that come about with young adulthood. Of course, I'm not one to talk in this regard. I don't remember much of mine."
  79.
  80. Cheryl:
  81. "I'd wager a bet it has to do with whatever the fuck's goin' on 'round his place, but he won't own up to it.
  82.
  83. Rosalinda :
  84. "Eeeessh, I wonder if it's anything to do with his folks. I kinda relate to that..."
  85. Rosalinda : (( and be arr be washroom ))
  86.
  87. Lyric:
  88. She then takes a polite sip from her cup filled with a strong sort of liquer. It seems her stomach and liver has taken more of an accomodation to Cheryl's crude taste in beverages. "To be fair, there has been quite a lot going on...everywhere lately. It's quite a time to be alive."
  89.
  90. Rosalinda :
  91. "Anyway, we gonna practice moar tomorrow? Gotta be prepared for anything!" Linda says, seemingly fired up.
  92.
  93. Cheryl:
  94. Cheryl shrugs again, "That'd be up to you and Tiff. My schedule is open for the next...thirty seven days or so, so whenever you guys wanna practice, then let's fuckin' practice."
  95.
  96. Rosalinda :
  97. "Guess I'll get into contact with her tomorrow at school." Linda says while thinking.
  98.
  99. Cheryl:
  100. "Sounds go- Chroist, Lyric, how much of that shit have you had?"
  101.
  102. Lyric:
  103. The not-Doppelganger finishes her cup and gives a nod conveying utmost confidence. "That garage seemed to be a rather busy place...*hic*"
  104.
  105. Lyric:
  106. "At this point I'm honestly not sure. I would enjoy more of it if you care to pass another..." Lyric throws her used bottle into the trash, only to have it fall off the pizza box summiting it. "Just a tad, aren't we supposed to recycle these things?"
  107.
  108. Cheryl:
  109. "Maaaaaaybe you should take a break from the heavy stuff for a bit there." Cheryl then turns her attention to Linda, "So what'dya make of all this crazy Replicant shit? Think somethin' bad's finally goin' down in this world or what?"
  110.
  111. Rosalinda :
  112. Linda is in deep thought. "I don't know to be honest. The replicant came out when I was in near deep shit, so maybe it's done more good than harm. This weird power is in it's own way...for the lack of a better word, exciting, yet scary at the same time. Just what are we supposed to do with this power...?"
  113.
  114. Rosalinda :
  115. *Sigh* Linda takes a sip of her soda. "Don't really wanna think about it, but I guess we kinda have to, huh...?"
  116.
  117. Cheryl:
  118. "Kinda hard not to when we're constantly dealing with this shit...oh shit, that's right!" Cheryl turns to Lyric, "No fuckin' idea why I didn't ask ya earlier, who the fuck was that guy I dropped a building on yesterday?!"
  119.
  120. Lyric:
  121. Lyric takes a deep sigh, covering her mouth as to not make her obscene alchohol-laden breath too apparent. "That's an apt way of putting it..."
  122.
  123. Lyric:
  124. She turns her head and her sighs become even more intense. "Adel Zhen. You could say he's the man who, in a sense, owe far too much to, for reasons beyond my comprehension."
  125. Lyric: (( *I owe ))
  126.
  127. Lyric:
  128. "The moment I woke up in this disasterous predicament, he was there for me. He gave me a sense of direction, so to speak. And he convinced me of many things I've yet to know is truth or false."
  129.
  130. Cheryl:
  131. "Hrmm, and now he's out to get ya? And me, I guess."
  132.
  133. Lyric:
  134. "Of course, I know not of his ultimate intentions, but they seem quite hazardous if others are to be believed. Such fascinating peopel in the meantime..."
  135. Lyric: (( *people I've met ))
  136.
  137. Rosalinda :
  138. "...This guy seems kinda nuts to say the least."
  139.
  140. Cheryl:
  141. "Like I said, I dropped a fuckin' building on him and he wasn't even knocked out. Just fuckin' took that shit.
  142.
  143. Lyric:
  144. "From my experiences, he is actually a very sorrowful man when he's not grimly determined... Just being around him is a very gloomy experience."
  145.
  146. Cheryl:
  147. "...if anyone asks though I didn't knock over shit. Don't know what the fuck you're talkin' about."
  148.
  149. Lyric:
  150. "His power, too, is something to be beheld. I am not sure the logistics of it, but those who have crossed him have typically met such sad fates...I do pray we will not end up one of those statistics."
  151.
  152. Cheryl:
  153. "Yeah, let's hope. Who were those other guys with him though? That bitch with the chains came outta fuck knows where..."
  154.
  155. Lyric:
  156. "I myself am unsure, but from what I can gather, one of his Replicant's proficiencies is the ability to summon those...things. Seemingly, they are mirror reflections of the man himself...but I've seen him do the same with other subjects entirely."
  157.
  158. Cheryl:
  159. "Mirror reflections...? Like..." Cheryl pauses for a moment, "I wonder if that's how you're involved with him...like...he pulled you over here? Like those ones? Maybe we weren't that far off with the alternate universe stuff..."
  160.
  161. Lyric:
  162. Lyric applies her finger to her chin. "To be perfectly quaint, that thought has crossed my mind many times before. But if that's true, that brings up the question; Why you- or well- me of all people?"
  163.
  164. Cheryl:
  165. "That's what I was wonderin' myself. He didn't seem to know me or care about me until just now..."
  166.
  167. Lyric:
  168. "He certainly cared about me however. As if my 'betrayal' really hurt him in a way. Of course, I'm unsure how sincere that is."
  169.
  170. Cheryl:
  171. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I guess. . ."
  172.
  173. Lyric:
  174. Lyric shakes her head dismissively. "It's hard to say one way or another. There are but many mysteries we have yet to unravel. Perhaps we should go headlong into danger to find out...of course we seem to be headed in that direction anyway."
  175.
  176. Lyric:
  177. "I did after all get to meet that lady you are soon due to fall into the hands of. Quite a character she is, even if my time with her was brief. Her, the other half of Adel, that strange catlike man, and the pink haired boy...my time beforehand was quite a strange one. Seems we'll have to deal with them all in due time."
  178.
  179. Cheryl:
  180. "The hell did everything get so complicated..?"
  181.
  182. Rosalinda :
  183. "...Which lady are you referring to, if you don't mind me asking, Lyric?"
  184.
  185. Lyric:
  186. "Hmm? You mean Stouffer? I believe she is quite the famous noble around here. She's the one hosting your concert, correct?"
  187.
  188. Rosalinda :
  189. "Ahh, I see. Just checking." Linda takes a sip of her drink. "...We can't lose the concert, can we?"
  190.
  191. Cheryl:
  192. "We ain't -GONNA- lose the concert."
  193.
  194. Rosalinda :
  195. Linda smirks a little. "Of course not." Linda says finally finishing her drink soda, and stylishly throws her bottle into the garbage.
  196.
  197. Lyric:
  198. "...sorry, I should really take that out." Lyric begins trying to sort the overflowing mess of trash. "It's best to keep a confident gait going into this, but...I'd keep an eye out or two."
  199.
  200. Rosalinda :
  201. "Ohhh sorry, you need some help with that? Didn't mean to add to your work..."
  202.
  203. Lyric:
  204. "Mind me not. It's best I make myself feel useful around the house...or flatroom as it may be."
  205.
  206. Lyric:
  207. Lyric begins to take the bag and head out, picking up whatever scraps and goodies she can find on the floor, and heads out to take it...somewhere.
  208.
  209. Rosalinda :
  210. "Well, I guess I should be heading home now. Gonna pick up some manga on the way home, and just gonna relax. Guess you're just gonna chill here at home for the rest of the night?"
  211.
  212. Cheryl:
  213. Cheryl pats down the pockets on her shorts, "Eh, probably. Unless I can'f find where I put those fuckin' smokes."
  214.
  215. Rosalinda :
  216. "Right then! See ya tomorrow hopefully!" Linda says as she packs her things and proceeds to head out.
  217.
  218. Rosalinda :
  219. "Good night Lyric!" She waves goodbye to her on the way out.
  220.
  221. Lyric:
  222. "It's quite rainy out there. I'd advise you to be quick..." Lyric flatly responds with a similar wave.
  223.
  224. Cheryl:
  225. "Aww fuck, you serious? When'd it start raining?" Cheryl grabs her jacket from the hook and throws it on, "Yeah, I'm gonna run out to the store real quick...you gonna be alright if I go?"
  226.
  227. Lyric:
  228. Lyric looks around before finally settling on a drink of...water. "I'll be just fine, but thanks for your concern."
  229.
  230. Rosalinda :
  231. "Shit, it's raining? Awww, knew I should have brought my umbrella." She then prepares to cover her head with her coat. "Guess this'll have to do..."
  232.
  233. Cheryl:
  234. "Alright, be back in a tick."
  235.
  236. Rosalinda :
  237. Linda kinda knew it'd be wise to just go straight home....BUT SHE KNEW SHE COULDN'T MISS OUT ON THE LATEST MANGA, SO ONTO THE BOOKSTORE SHE WENT.
  238.
  239. Cheryl:
  240. Likewise, Cheryl's crippling nicotine addiction meant that she'd have to brave this rainstorm in order to get her precious smokes.
  241.
  242. ThatBaka:
  243. @Cheryl The way to the storefront is fairly uncluttered, save for a single interesting scenario. Or from what you can see anyway. There seem to be a group of kids angrily huddled around someone, near the front of the store.
  244.
  245. Cheryl:
  246. *I shall take a peek, capitano.*
  247.
  248. ThatBaka:
  249. Kick! Biff! They punt the man while yelling obscenities; these people are clearly angry at something.
  250. Cheryl: (( Who can it be nao ))
  251.
  252. ThatBaka:
  253. It's the "fuck I forgot to save their tokens give me a minute" brigade
  254.
  255. Tempest:
  256. "I thought I told you, old man!" One of the men gives a solid kick to the huddling figure in the center. "I'm gonna be dead as a doornail if you don't pay up soon!"
  257.
  258. Getsu:
  259. "Hmmph..." The man in the center of the mess seems to be taking this all in strides.
  260. Rosalinda : (( where have I seen that black guy token before ))
  261.
  262. Mic:
  263. "Oh you think this is just a GAME, huh? Well I'll show you how we deal with jokers like you in these woods!" The young man near the back takes out a pole and tries knocking him down with it
  264.
  265. Cheryl:
  266. "Oi!" Cheryl calls out at the group, her arms behind the guitar strapped to her back, "The fuck are you lot doin?"
  267. Cheryl: (( That's Aqualad ))
  268.
  269. Kennel:
  270. One of the delinquents turns a solid glare at the rocker in the jacket. "We're playing a fine game that can be played of all ages, genders, and physical statuses. It's called the 'mind your own damn business' game."
  271.
  272. Kennel:
  273. "The rules are simple. You keep on walking and let us do our thing, and we'll kindly refrain from doing to you what we're about to do to this scumbag here. Get it?"
  274.
  275. Cheryl:
  276. "Hmm, I never was very good at followin' rules. And I just -bet- you've been hopin' someone would come along all this time, just savin' that joke up. Just -GIDDY- with excitement that you'd get to be 'clever' for one brief, shining moment."
  277.
  278. ThatBaka:
  279. Also the bookstore is a bookstore as per usual. There's nobody of much interest there.
  280.
  281. Rosalinda :
  282. Linda walks into the store. "Yaaay time to check out the latest Rurouni Kenshin manga~!" Linda squeals like a stupid fangirl.
  283.
  284. Getsu:
  285. "..." The man in the center does nothing, in fact it's quite doubtful he notices you at all, given that he's mostly obscured his eyes under a fanciful, old-fashioned hood to protect from the rain.
  286.
  287. Kennel:
  288. "That's one time more clever than you are, it seems. Have anything useful to contribute now, lady, or do you plan on wasting our time?"
  289.
  290. Tempest:
  291. The other blondie whips his hair in the other direction. "Hey, hey, hey. Don't look a gifted horse in the mouth like that. Maybe she's goin' bra-less."
  292.
  293. Cheryl:
  294. "Pffthaha..oh, that's good. Sorry, love. Prepubescent boys don't do a damn thing for me."
  295.
  296. Tempest:
  297. The tiger-toothed man gets a bit ticked at that comment. "Prepubescent!? I'll have you know, everyone knows it's all about girth and not legnth god dammit! How many times do I have to drill this-!?"
  298.
  299. Kennel:
  300. "Tempest, I don't think that's what prepubescent means-"
  301.
  302. Tempest:
  303. "FUCK THIS! THIS LADY HAS PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF!" The man flies into a rage and winds up a whirlwind kick, his stroke of action being accentuated by the dripping waters above.
  304.
  305. Rosalinda :
  306. Linda buys her manga, after spending like half an hour just reading it at the stand, as she prepares to leave.
  307. Cheryl: (( This a free for all or just vs Tempest? ))
  308.
  309. Mic:
  310. *Sigh* "Are we seriously doing this shit? I mean, like, really? We were just here to- oh forget it..." The man in the back whirls his pipe around and gets into a battle ready position
  311.
  312. Kennel:
  313. "Man, it feels weird to gang up on a girl like this...but a job's a job!" Kennel spits on his fists and charges forth
  314. Kennel: (( yep you're against everyone here ))
  315. Kennel: (( because we're in a goddamn thug thrashing match ))
  316. Cheryl: (( Only control really matters because I go first no matter what, right? ))
  317. Kennel: (( yep ))
  318.
  319. Cheryl:
  320. Healed up!
  321.
  322. Cheryl:
  323. Initiative (1d10): 9 + 0 = 9 3 FS used! Control (1d12): 3 + 2 = 5
  324.
  325. ThatBaka:
  326. @TWILT Once you get home, it seems someone has broken into it...again. This time they made no attempt to hide this fact, as the door isn't quite shut all the way.
  327. Cheryl: (( Now that Control is to be spread across all my actions right? Because I have five in thug thrashin'. ))
  328. ThatBaka: (( yep, you got the idea ))
  329.
  330. Rosalinda :
  331. "Okay, I think I need to install an alarm system next time or....something...." Linda says as she slowly walks into her house. Once again, she prepares a baseball bat she has to keep her safe...
  332.
  333. Cheryl:
  334. "Tch, idiots..." Cheryl starts by dashing in low with a surprising burst of speed! Before he knows it, Cheryl is right before Tempest and clawing at his eyes! « 1d6+3 = 6 + 3 = 9 »
  335.
  336. Cheryl:
  337. Cheryl uses 3 Fighting Spirit!
  338.
  339. Cheryl:
  340. « 1d4 = 3 »
  341.
  342. ThatBaka:
  343. Creeping slowly into your house, you can tell whoever broke in isn't very good at cleaning up after themselves. Loud music emits from the TV, and there's more wrappers on the floor than a def jam concert after somebody calls FEMA. Of course the culprit is lying right there on the floor/couch/somewhere you laze around in.
  344.
  345. Cheryl:
  346. With equally impressive speed, the red-head spins around and delivers a kick to Kennel's head! « 1d6+2 = 6 + 2 = 8 »
  347.
  348. Cheryl:
  349. Cheryl uses 2 Fighting Spirit!
  350.
  351. Cheryl:
  352. « 1 = 1 »
  353. Cheryl: (( That feel when back to -1 STR character (SAD) ))
  354.
  355. ThatBaka:
  356. >double sixes
  357. Cheryl: (( INORITE? ))
  358.
  359. Rosalinda :
  360. "Hellooo....Don't tell me who I think it is..." Linda says looking at the culprit.
  361.
  362. Tempest:
  363. SUPREME IMPACT! Both Tempest and Kennel go flying to each side, lying on the ground groaning to themselves. "Mother FUCKER!"
  364.
  365. Cheryl:
  366. With the second thug properly headkicked, Cheryl continues her agile movements, spinning around him to attack the third thug! « 1d6+2 = 4 + 2 = 6 »
  367.
  368. Cheryl:
  369. Cheryl uses 2 Fighting Spirit!
  370. Cheryl: (( Technically a six. ))
  371.
  372. Cheryl:
  373. « 1 = 1 »
  374.
  375. Sialia:
  376. *Munchcrunchcrunchcruch* Sialia lies on the ground, angrily munching on a bag of Cheese Doodles as she constantly changes the channel. Her spirits are slightly uplifted after you make yourself appearent. "Liiinddaaaaaaa. How's it been going? You staying safe and sound out there?"
  377.
  378. Rosalinda :
  379. "Sialia, WHAT did I tell you about breaking into my house without my permission? : |"
  380.
  381. Mic:
  382. "Ugh..." Mic slightly reels back, feeling a bit of damage from that powerful blow. "You got some skills...I'm impressed."
  383.
  384. Cheryl:
  385. "And you're still standin', so I guess you're not as shit as those two idiots."
  386.
  387. Sialia:
  388. Her mouth still stuffed with cheesy puffs, a single tear rolls down Sialia's poofed up face. She swallows the chewed up junk food and wipes her tear away. "Linda, you idiot. I have no place else to go! Was hoping I'd be slightly more well-recieved in this climate..."
  389.
  390. Rosalinda :
  391. *Sigh* "I'm just saying...call me next time." Linda says with a small smile, taking a cheese doodle from Sialia's bag for herself.
  392.
  393. Mic:
  394. Mic shoots himself forth rapidly, not sparing much time to do else but hold his polearm in front of him. "You don't know the half of it..."
  395.
  396. Mic:
  397. « 1d6+2 = 3 + 2 = 5 »
  398. Cheryl: (( Haaaaaaaaaaaah, I wish that was a miss. ))
  399.
  400. Mic:
  401. « 1d8 = 8 »
  402. Cheryl: (( But das a hit ))
  403. Cheryl: (( OW MY FACE. ))
  404.
  405. Cheryl:
  406. Cheryl loses 8 hit points.
  407. Mic: (( you bet that's a stunnin' too ))
  408. Rosalinda : (( Aqualad's a bitch ))
  409. Cheryl: (( FUCK YOU AQUALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. . . ))
  410.
  411. Sialia:
  412. Sialia continues to drown her sorrows in trashy snacks. "You won't leave me like the rest, will you? Of course you won't. God, everything sucks so hard now..."
  413.
  414. Cheryl:
  415. Cheryl rockets back from the force of the blow, landing on her back, "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck..."
  416.
  417. Mic:
  418. Mic hurls forward, twirling his metal polearm around his body, and delivering another harsh strike from above! « 1d6+2 = 6 + 2 = 8 »
  419.
  420. Rosalinda :
  421. Linda sits down near Sialia, and pets her head. "You know I don't abandon a friend...wanna tell me what's wrong?"
  422.
  423. Mic:
  424. « 1d8 = 7 »
  425. Cheryl: (( The fuck?! ))

  436. "Uuu uuu~" Sialia purrs with a slight twinge of mockery as her head gets patted "Everything, really. My friends either hate my guts now or got KIA. Grrr...I hate people so much."
  437.
  438. Sialia:
  439. "On the way here I saw a couple walking along the street, one embracing the other. When I see people happy like that, I just want them to die."
  440. Mic: (( and yep stil is ))

  456. Cheryl: (( That hit? ))
  457.
  458. Mic:
  459. Mic narrowly blocks the blow. "Impressive to say the least...but it's not quite up to snuff."
  460. Cheryl: (( Fuckin' Aqualaaaaaaaaaaaad ))
  461.
  462. Mic:
  463. "Being better than these two clowns isn't that much of an accomplishment after all."
  464.
  465. Mic:
  466. Mic wastes no time, and spins his steel polearm in the rapid rainfall. "They don't hire me as a babysitter for nothing."
  467.
  468. Rosalinda :
  469. "Hmm...you know it's not right to think like that, but I'm not your mom, so..." Linda says as she gives Sialia a spare bottle of Diet Coke.
  470.
  471. Mic:
  472. « 1d6+2 = 1 + 2 = 3 »
  473.
  474. Sialia:
  475. Sialia angrily snatches the bottle out of Linda's hand. "And thank god you aren't! My mother was a bitch! You shouldn't strive to be like her at all!"
  476.
  477. Cheryl:
  478. Cheryl blocks the spinning pipe with her guitar, "This shit's getting on my fuckin' nerves now. . ."

  484. Mic cools off his flurry of polearm thrusts, and waits in patient anticipation for his opponent's next move
  485. Cheryl: (( I TOTES HAVE ENOUGH SUPER ENERGY AFTER THIS TWO TURN FIGHT RIGHT? ))
  486.
  487. Rosalinda :
  488. "Heh...you know, my mom was the same way. Kind of why I live by myself these days..." Linda says, looking a little sad now.
  489. Mic: (( you should have 7 actually ))
  490. Cheryl: (( Boo. ))
  491.
  492. Cheryl:
  493. "LET'S ROCK! « 1d6+3 = 5 + 3 = 8 »

  496. Cheryl uses 3 Fighting Spirit!
  497.
  498. Cheryl:
  499. Shoving the polearm away, Cheryl swings her guitar back before sending it rocketing forward into Mic's crotch! Launched into the air, Cheryl lets out a whistle as Quiet Riot appears behind her! "Here's the finale!" At this, Quiet Riot unleashes a flurry of punches against the airborn enemy before smashing him away!

  501. Cheryl:
  502. « 1d4+4+1+1+1+1 = 2 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 10 »
  503.
  504. Sialia:
  505. Sialia chugs on the bottle of soda, and gives off a loud belch. "See, you and I, we're not so different. We need to do more bonding like this. Of course, I thought I bonded pretty well with Cheryl too...but look where that got me!"
  506. Tokens dropped onto map 'Cobblestone2Revengeance' by player MarthTrinity (Player)

  513.
  514. Rosalinda :
  515. "Heheh, cheers." Linda grabs the remote and attempts to turn on her TV. "...You didn't break the TV this time, right?" Linda says as checks the news.
  516.
  517. Mic:
  518. The Camera freezeframes on Mic's percussive gaze shortly before he goes flying into a storm of invisible punches. "Is she one of those...." is the last words that escape his lips before his consciousness flicks off like a lightbulb.
  519.
  520. Mic:
  521. His body goes scraping against the ground, narrowly missing the annoyed old man, and then goes crashing into a nearby building.
  522.
  523. Getsu:
  524. The old man in the hood of course is content with just getting up and staring at his boxed collection of nicotine. "Keh. Kids have no foresight at all..."
  525.
  526. Sialia:
  527. "Of course not. I have no reason to use the replicant for anything now. Don't know if I ever will. Nobody really appreciates it anyway."
  528.
  529. Cheryl:
  530. "You doin' alright there, pops?
  531.
  532. Rosalinda :
  533. "...Say, uh, you free this weekend? Was wondering if maybe we can hang out or something."
  534.
  535. Getsu:
  536. The wrinkly old coot straightens out his jaw, his facial complexion having an almost wood-like property as it clicks into place. "I've never been bet-" Getsu pulls his hood down to see who exactly is addressing him before pulling it back over again. "Oh, nevermind. It's just you. Now beat it."
  537.
  538. Cheryl:
  539. "...yeah, you're welcome there, pops."
  540.
  541. Sialia:
  542. Sialia stretches and coos like a cat. "In case it wasn't obvious enough, I went through with quitting that whole 'being a piece of shit' business. I'll have more than enough free time."
  543.
  544. Rosalinda :
  545. "I'm gonna hang out with a couple of friends of mine on Saturday, and was, uh, wondering maybe you'd like to join us?" Linda thinks for a second... "If you just want to hang out with me, there's always Sunday too I guess..."
  546.
  547. Getsu:
  548. The old man coughs. "It's Getsu, you shameless matron. I don't forget so easily. I'm unconcerned in meddling with his affairs. Now heed my former advice."
  549.
  550. Sialia:
  551. "'Hanging out' means nothing nowadays. I want things to be more meaningful now, y'know? Of course you don't. There's no meaning in anything, is there?"
  552.
  553. Sialia:
  554. "But sure. I can do any of those days. Once again, a-plenty of free time here." Sialia gives a stern grumble
  555.
  556. Rosalinda :
  557. "Hehe, nah, I don't think so. Hanging out with your good friends is always a good fun time for me." Linda says. "And well, we're still good friends, right?" Linda says with a smile.
  558.
  559. Cheryl:
  560. "Matron...? The fuck does that even...?" Cheryl sighs, "Whatever..." Cheryl decides to just ignore the old man's ramblings and proceed past him.
  561.
  562. Getsu:
  563. Getsu straightens out his back and makes his way back in the opposite direction, uttering something under his breath.
  564.
  565. Sialia:
  566. The girl puts her hands behind her head and whistles. "Yeah, I guess. I can depend on you for that, right? You promise not to up and turn tail? Because if you do..."
  567.
  568. Rosalinda :
  569. "Hehe, of course not. You gotta promise to do the same for me though!" Linda says with a wink.
  570.
  571. Cheryl:
  572. And so, Cheryl went and bought her smokes. "The fuck's wrong with that crazy old man. Fuckin' punks were kickin' the shit out of him and he doesn't even react...then he tells me to fuckin' leave?"
  573.
  574. Sialia:
  575. Sialia's lower lip quivers, and with an unbound ferocity, she leaps up and delivers a tight grip of a hug to Linda. "Trust me, I'd rather die than leave the last person I can rely on in the dust. I'd totally deserve it too."
  576.
  577. Tarley:
  578. Tarley gives you your pack of smoke sticks. "Mmm yes, I've seen you've come into acquaintance with Getsu out there? Truly you've gotten off lightly in comparison."
  579.
  580. Rosalinda :
  581. "Hehe, we're friends till the end; don't worry, Sialia." Linda says, holding Sialia tight too.
  582.
  583. Cheryl:
  584. "Hrmm?" Cheryl questions, fishing in her pocket for her money, "What'dya mean by that?"
  585.
  586. Tarley:
  587. "Oh, I remember that old coot from way back when. Had a smokin' wife too. I wonder where she went off to...."
  588.
  589. Tarley:
  590. "Oh, it's not much. The guy has had something of a disdain for a certain brand of youth. Mostly those in association with his son. Or was it grandson? I can't quite remember these things..."
  591.
  592. Tarley:
  593. "Really, after what happened to my shop last week, it's a right miracle I haven't turned into another Getsu myself." The old merchant chortles to himself.
  594.
  595. Cheryl:
  596. "Well he was gettin' the shit kicked out of him, then he told me to get lost after I beat the hell outta those guys."
  597.
  598. Tarley:
  599. Tarley takes a whiff of his pipe. "Doesn't surprise me. If he wanted to, he could probably break every single bone on the body of those kids. Don't let his age fool you; He's a man in his peak condition. Just like me! Y'know, if I tried a bit harder."
  600.
  601. Sialia:
  602. But then Sialia lets go and resumes watching television. "I'll probably need to hang around here for a while though. Y'know until I can get everything together. Eventually."
  603.
  604. Cheryl:
  605. "Tch, never heard that one before. Just that he's a weird old lech from the hot springs."
  606.
  607. Tarley:
  608. "He keeps it well hidden; He prefers to stay out of trouble. But he won't fool his old pal now, will he?" Tarley gives his usual old man chortle and nicks away your money.
  609.
  610. Rosalinda :
  611. "Ehh feel free to stay as long as you'd like. Would be kinda nice to have a roommate I suppose!...though I only have one bed..." Linda thinks...
  612.
  613. Cheryl:
  614. "Well then I got a fuckin' pipe to the face for nothin."
  615.
  616. Tarley:
  617. "You could do worse! You could be the one running this establishment! Chyohoho..."
  618.
  619. Cheryl:
  620. "...Yeah." Cheryl takes her change and heads out, having had enough old people humor for one day.
  621.
  622. Sialia:
  623. "Bed schmed, I'll sleep wherever the hell I feel like!" Sialia exclaims dominantly
