  10. [2016-08-20 19:47:36] <ElizabethST> Elizabeth shurgs, "I repaired her bike once or twice."
  11. [2016-08-20 19:48:30] * Caroline_Weiss nods. "Well maybe we'll give her some time to recover and then go talk to her. Just in case she remembers anything she saw."
  12. [2016-08-20 19:51:28] <ElizabethST> *Leah* "Well that would be just delightful, cheer the girl up lick'i'split."
  13. [2016-08-20 19:53:56] * Abigail_Weiss gestures to Elizabeth. "Lead the way."
  14. [2016-08-20 19:55:10] * Caroline_Weiss waits until we're out of earshot of Lean and asks Liz. "So you know anything specific about Kate? Likes her steaks extra rare? Lives alone? Howls at the moon...although I've done that myself....errr.... You know, werewolf clue stuff!"

  26. [2016-08-20 20:19:12] * Abigail_Weiss rolls her eyes. With a tone like someone swearing under their breath, she mutters something in the tongue of magic while focusing on the book. Then she flips it open randomly.
  27. [2016-08-20 20:24:15] <ElizabethST> *There is the tingle of fate magic as Abigail opens the book and scans over it, finding Kate Jones. Her number and address are listed.*

  29. [2016-08-20 20:25:45] <Caroline_Weiss> "Neat trick sis. Well I guess we should call her up."

  31. [2016-08-20 20:27:43] <ElizabethST> *Elizabeth* "Hello, I am a total stranger. You wouldn't happen to be a werewolf would you?"

  33. [2016-08-20 20:28:24] <Abigail_Weiss> "Mmm. I think we'll have to see her in person for a question like that."
  34. [2016-08-20 20:29:12] * Abigail_Weiss puts the book away tidily and heads to her car.
  35. [2016-08-20 20:29:29] <Caroline_Weiss> "I was thinking more 'Hey we live next door to Leah and heard about the wolf attack, are you ok' but sure we can just ask if she's a werewolf. Maybe see if she has a hunkering for raw meat!"
  36. [2016-08-20 20:29:53] <ElizabethST> "Hey, wait up!" Liz jogs to catch up to Abby.
  37. [2016-08-20 20:30:06] <ElizabethST> And gets into the car.
  38. [2016-08-20 20:30:27] * Caroline_Weiss scoops up her jacket and hurries after her sisters.
  39. [2016-08-20 20:34:38] * Abigail_Weiss drives to the address, probably with Liz's guidance.
  40. [2016-08-20 20:34:56] <ElizabethST> *Vroom Vroom* *The place turns out to be one of the few apartment complexes in the city, though only two stories high. Puny for a big city person. You have her apartment number for convenience sake.*
  41. [2016-08-20 20:38:52] * Abigail_Weiss knocks on the door.
  42. [2016-08-20 20:41:25] <ElizabethST> There is some muddled cursing as someone tromps towards the door and cracks it open. A brown haired girl with her jacket hood on peeks out, "Whaddaya want?"
  43. [2016-08-20 20:43:18] <ElizabethST> *She looks approximately in her 20's, nice complexion, if not for the extremely grumpy face she has on.*
  44. [2016-08-20 20:43:46] * Caroline_Weiss waits for Abby PI to see what she does!
  45. [2016-08-20 20:51:37] * Abigail_Weiss puts on a soft tone. "Hi, Kate. We heard about the attack - we live just next door. Are you okay?"
  46. [2016-08-20 20:53:04] <ElizabethST> "Just peachy. Why do you care?"
  47. [2016-08-20 20:54:35] <ElizabethST> *She is not a happy camper judging by her tone*
  48. [2016-08-20 20:55:33] * Caroline_Weiss chimes in over Abby's shoulder. "Well we've know Leah since we were kids. And when she said you weren't feeling well, well we just had to stop by. You wanna go get something to eat or anything?"
  49. [2016-08-20 21:04:42] <ElizabethST> *Kate* "Ah fuck it, this day couldn't possibly get any weirder anyways. Coffee, you are buying." You hear some keys being grabbed and she opens the door to leave. The glimpse you get inside is of a messy place, kinda looks trashed in fact, but the door closes before you can look better.
  50. [2016-08-20 21:08:17] * Abigail_Weiss raises her eyebrows, impressed by Caroline's success. She steps back a bit to give Kate space.
  51. [2016-08-20 21:08:59] * Caroline_Weiss nods and walks next to Kate. "Well I don't think coffee is too weird but then again not sure how they make it around her any more. I'm Carol and these are my sisters Liz and Abby. Like Abby said, we live next to Leah's and she thought you needed some cheering up!" She beams cheeriness herself.

  53. [2016-08-20 21:12:41] <ElizabethST> *Kate continues to be grumpy face in a hoodie on a summer day, though she looks a bit uncomfortable with being outside with strangers.* "Kate..." She looks at Liz. "You are that repair person who fixed my bike awhile back."

  55. [2016-08-20 21:13:25] <ElizabethST> *Kate* "Yeah."
  56. [2016-08-20 21:14:53] <ElizabethST> *She starts walking to the street and presumably towards the coffee shop she wants to go to.*
  57. [2016-08-20 21:16:00] * Caroline_Weiss keeps chatting cheerfully. "So where we headed? Its been a while since I've been in town and Liz hardly ever leaves the farm except to deliver things."

  59. [2016-08-20 21:18:47] <Abigail_Weiss> "To deliver things, yes."
  60. [2016-08-20 21:18:49] <ElizabethST> *Kate* "SpaceBase Coffeehouse. Opened recently and has free wifi like you hear the city places having."

  64. [2016-08-20 21:21:13] * Caroline_Weiss throws her arm around Liz's shoulders and gives her a side hug. "Just teasing sis! But it definitely sounds like my kind of place. I should have brought my laptop then."

  66. [2016-08-20 21:24:41] <Caroline_Weiss> "Oh, its a MacBook Air. Not the greatest but they're really good for music production, which is sorta my thing!"
  67. [2016-08-20 21:26:22] <ElizabethST> *The walking continues* "I guess for that work yeah....you in some band or something?"
  68. [2016-08-20 21:29:25] <Abigail_Weiss> "Oh boy, don't get her started..."

  70. [2016-08-20 21:30:52] * Caroline_Weiss gives her sisters a look and pulls out her drumsticks and brandishes them with a grin. "Definitely into music although its more of an 'or something' at the moment. I was in a band but..well...the singer was my boyfriend but now he's my ex and...well... you get the idea. But maybe I'll get the other members back together, they were cool! So, you help out at Leah's a lot?"
  71. [2016-08-20 21:31:28] <ElizabethST> *The small group turn heads as they walk, older folk pointing and raising eyebrows.*
  72. [2016-08-20 21:34:50] <ElizabethST> "Weekdays after my paper route in the morning. Pays shit, work with shit, but Leah's nice. Usually gives me a free meal."
  73. [2016-08-20 21:37:17] * Caroline_Weiss smiles at passers-by too as she chats with Kate. "Yeah, she's been a friend for years now. Since we were kids. But that's sorta the reason I left town. Had to follow my dream and all that."
  74. [2016-08-20 21:43:15] <ElizabethST> *You all arrive at the coffee shop after a seriously long walk, like who walks that far? Placing your orders and such, you sit down.*
  75. [2016-08-20 21:43:50] <ElizabethST> *After a few sips of coffee, Kate cracks a small smile.* "Heh, thanks for this. Actually do feel a bit better."
  76. [2016-08-20 21:44:38] <ElizabethST> *She flitches out a tablet and connects to their wifi.*
  77. [2016-08-20 21:49:04] <ElizabethST> *Liz* "Hey could I see one your phones?" She asks her sisters. "I wanna see something."
  78. [2016-08-20 21:50:00] <Abigail_Weiss> "Sure." Abby hands hers over.
  79. [2016-08-20 21:50:38] <ElizabethST> *Liz concentrates on the phone, and both of your magical senses ping.*
  80. [2016-08-20 21:50:50] <ElizabethST> "Thanks." She says as she hands it back.
  81. [2016-08-20 21:50:51] * Caroline_Weiss does the same as she chats with Kate more. "Glad you're feeling better, need to put this sorta thing behind you."
  82. [2016-08-20 21:53:33] * Abigail_Weiss nods. "Fresh air and getting something in your stomach is good for you."
  83. [2016-08-20 21:53:59] <ElizabethST> *Elizabeth sees the various wifi signals going by. Music playing on one. A scrawl of what might be a blog text. Little birds with paper scrolls fly to Kates. Something about recent local news, people's comments on it?*
  84. [2016-08-20 21:55:19] <ElizabethST> *Kate* "Cup o' Noodles and insta-coffee was getting pretty boring yeah." She passively ignores Caroline's attempt at morale boosting.
