Job Description
Looking for a highly experienced iOS developer to be a productive member of the Mobile App
development team that designs, builds, tests, delivers and supports the Tesco Bank native App-based
products and services. Candidate will be working on Tesco Bank Digital Wallet App development
programme adding innovative new features as well as fixing existing software bugs and creating new
Apps.
Role & Responsibilities
 Deployment of iOS apps to Apple Store.
 Working in Agile Software/continuous delivery development environment.
 Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
 Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
 Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
 Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Skills:
 In depth knowledge and experience of programming Objective C, C# for iOS applications.
 Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C
 Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
 Understanding of other compiled languages
 Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
 Experience of development using web technologies
 Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns
 Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP
 Experience building web and native apps Experience using social media APIs
 Ads integration using a 3rd party ad server (DART)
 Using version control (e.g. SVN)
 Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
 Experience in payments preferred
