SNES and GBA ALTTP Comparison

List of differences in GBA A Link To The Past speedruns:

-Port of 1.2 Version
-No super speed
-No item dash
-No fake flippers
-No spectacle bomb jump
-No spooky Mire glitch
-No bomb dupe
-No torch glitch
-Link makes noises for every slash, hit and fall

Mechanical differences:
-Faster text. R advances through boxes faster, A advances scrolling text faster
-Faster screen transitions
-Link is 1 pixel taller
-No lag
-Screen is smaller, making less things load. Strats must be altered to accommendate this in some rooms.
-Floor collapsing is faster
-Any item obtained that uses magic (except medallions) will heal magic
-Lamp burns bushes and damages enemies
-Collision on walls and objects are wider when warping between light world and dark world.
-Obtaining Master Sword heals HP.
-Dungeon title text appears upon entering a dungeon or mirror warping (except for Castle of Hyrule and Castle Dungeon)
-Extra flute spot above light world Turtle Rock when portal is activated (has no impact in the speedrun)
-No Bottle menu. All bottles are stored on the right side of the menu.
-Cursor wrapping in menu goes diagonally instead of straight up and down.
-Cannot use items while a boss is dying (poses a problem against Lanmola, Trinexx and sometimes Kholdstare)
-Pit in Ganon's Tower Moldorm is smaller, allowing for bomb jump to skip the fight
-One room in Ice Palace is different to prevent cheesing the dungeon with Cane of Somaria (has no impact in the speedrun)
-Hammer bomb jump is harder
-There is an extra ledge on the top left door area in Swamp Palace
-There is a Mothula quick kill
-Master sword and other sword upgrade can slash through signs
-Gold sword and silver arrows can break pots
-Sword can pick up items
-The shovel still remains in possession after getting flute
-Fluting on weather vane is more precise
-Link digs MUCH faster and can dig in all 4 directions (increases the odds of getting heart piece)
-Heart piece in Chest game can be in 1st or 2nd chest (increases odds to 1/4 chance instead of 1/8)
