Lufia II: RotS - 98%/100% Glitchless FAQ

What is included in the 100%?
Lufia 2 100% is defined as:
- Open every chest in the game
- Kill Gordovan Gades
- Beat the Ancient Cave at least once
- Collect the dragon eggs 4 times and beat the egg dragon
- Get all capsule monsters and fully evolve them

What is different in 98%
98% doesnt include AC, meaning we skip out on 3 chests and about 2 hours of RNG hell.

What isnt included in the 100%?
The only thing that is excluded from the run is getting all 9 Iris Treasures. This is because it would make the run rediculously long and RNG-heavy. Iris% is a run on its own that will not be included in this 100%. On top of that, the Iris treasures are not included in the final stat-screen.

Whats the World Record?
The world record for 100% is 9:09:05 by Happysquid89, for 98% its 6:47:43 by me.

What are the main threads in the run?
The most timeconsuming and problematic thing is easily the Ancient Cave. Other then that Gades and the Egg Dragon are both very difficult fights. Hunting the dragon eggs can be a little time consuming, but isnt too dangerous

How long do you expect the run to take?
8-12 hours, depending heavily on the AC for 100%. 98% is about 7 hours

Why are you resetting the early part?
In this category I still need to manip to catfish. This is a manip I havent done in ages though, so expect it to take a while.
