  1. Marriage. Truly, I never thought the day would come for me. 'Manuela you poor fool, you should have gotten hitched with one of the droves of fans who were lining up for your performances in your youth.' I'd start. 'But now that you're in your...slightly older youth, the options are slimming down and there might not be any hope left for you.' Thoughts like those would drone throughout my head as I worked tirelessly at the Academy. Here I found myself a bevy of rather handsome knights to chose from, but things just never seemed to...click! 'Oh I'm sorry, I just don't think I can date a woman who uses her fur coat to hide snacks!' 'Manuela, did you really go through an entire bottle of wine before 11?' So judgemental! They cruelly broke my heart, time and time again.
  2.
  3. Then Professor Byleth arrived one day at the academy. He looked so young for his age, yet had this mature, calm aura that totally captivated me. I casually flirted with him now and then, but never got much of a reaction from him. 'Figures' I moped, 'He's surrounded by all these young women and spends all day listening to them prattle on about this and that.' I was being to think I'd completely lost my touch. But then one morning I was awoken from a rather...tumutulous night of self-comfort with a vintage merlot of mine to find him wanting to talk to me. I was taken a little off guard, but I felt a flutter in my chest that I hadn't felt in some time. More than anything, I was happy he'd taken the time to come see me.
  4.
  5. A lot of things happened that year at the academy. I was stabbed by some dreadful knight, permanently marring my porcelain skin, one of the students raised a coup of the church and laid siege to the entire country. Another went from prince to feral man-hunting beast. And don't get me started on that Claude fellow. But more importantly than any of that, I and Byleth had started seeing one another! It was a magical time! We would ultimately spend some time apart for circumstances I cannot begin to surmise, before reuniting and eventually...getting married. At first, I thought it was a rather cruel tease, but not a second more I was the happiest woman in all of Fodlan.
  6.
  7. Fast forward not too long after the marriage ceremony, me and Byleth were on our honeymoon. We had hurried away to a beautiful secluded villa beachside that was truly a vision of beauty. At this moment, I was preparing for dinner. Our first night together as a married couple. I was stood in front of the mirror in my room, meticulously adjusting my hair as I hyped myself up. 'Alright Manuela, You've got him in the bag now!' I thought 'He's already put the ring on your finger, but I must ensure this victory like any other.' I'd laid out the perfect seduction plan with the help of some of my former students and co-workers at the academy. We'd met over tea so I could get some helpful pro-tips.
  8.
  9. "This night will be akin to that of a dangerous mission," Shamir started, casually twirling an assassin's dagger "You've got to be critical about every detail, or else your failure is all but assured."
  10. "You've got to appeal to his baser man!" Dorothea gushed, combing her flowing brunette hair "Show off your goods and he'll be putty in your hands."
  11. "Loving and fighting have a lot more in common than most people think," Catherine began. "You may very well have to beat him into submission. Show him how strong your love is!" She grinned, giving her bicep a little flex.
  12. "Well that stuff's all well and good, but don't try too hard," Hilda warned. "I mean, you're already married, right?" I nodded intensely, taking all their words to heart.
  13.
  14. Adjusting the outfit Dorothea let me, I looked at myself in the mirror one last time, my nerves starting to get the better of me. But I shook it off. 'You've got this, girl. Just stick to the plan, and everything will go perfectly.' With a final reassuring nod, I heard the sound of the door unlocking in the main room. He's back!
  15.
  16. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. After spending some time wandering about the local areas as Manuela suggested, you've made your way back to your room. She said she had some surprises planned for when you returned and needed time to get ready. She seemed excitedly nervous the last you saw her and were curious to see what she had in mind.
  19.
  20. You open the door to your room to find Manuela waiting for you in a long, rather unflattering tan shawl that completely obscured her body. You were so caught up in taking in her outfit, you couldn't see the look of annoyance on her face. She cleared her throat.
  21.
  22. "You're late. What took you so long?"
  23. You pause for a moment before answering that she'd never really given you a time to be back by. And that it's only 6. She seemed a little flustered by this response before explaining.
  24. "W-Well, you should have been back sooner. Showing up promptly for an arranged meeting is the essence of being a knight. I hope you conduct yourself with more haste on the battlefield than you did today." She concluded, with a curt turn.
  25.
  26. Battlefield? The evening had just begun and you're already confused. You follow her to the living area where the two of you sit down awkwardly next to one another on the love seat. You make small talk about how one another's day went, but you simply have to say something about the odd shawl. Deciding not to be too direct about it, you simply inquire where she'd gotten it from, and she gets a little tense.
  27.
  28. "A-Ah. Right, this old thing?" She laughs nervously "Sorry, I'd comply forgotten I was wearing this" She paused for a moment, as if building up the courage to do something, then she looks at you longingly whilst batting her lashes and says in a faux husky voice "Let me...slip into something more comfortable, shall I?"
  29.
  30. Your attempts at hiding your chuckle fail, and you can't help but giggle at her delivery. She purses her lips tightly, clearly embarrassed before standing up. With a careful tug, Manuela pulls a drawstring on the back of the shawl, and the neck comes loose, letting it fall to the floor. Your laughter stops here.
  31.
  32. Manuela now stands before you wearing a tight, strapless green "dress" with a neckline that seemed to just plunge into the abyss of her rather ample chest. It seemed too small for her in many ways, with her chest threatening to spill out if she were to jostle herself even mildly so. The stomach area had a stylized cut in it, exposing her soft tummy and cute bellybutton, while lacey frills adorn her waist. Not much further down the dress just terminates, exposing a great expanse of thigh. She also appears to be wearing a black garter belt and slick, black stockings that carefully wrap around her legs.
  33.
  34. You're mesmerized at the sight of her body, before looking up to her blushing face. She can't seem to bring herself to meet your gaze, starring off to the side.
  35. "T-That's better. Much more comfortable~!" She says, before sitting back down next to you. Her legs are crossed and hands delicately placed in her lap.
  36.
  37. You have no idea why she's been acting so strange but you compliment her on her outfit. She squirms in her seat, at a loss for words, so you decide to break the tension with a joke. This does cause her to relax a bit, and she responds in kind. She's still clearly not at all comfortable in that outfit, but she's considerably more relaxed than before. Feeling close to her now, you give her a little tickle. She giggles and responds with a playful shove. You go in for another tickle, and Manuela gives you a tap on the shoulder. Enjoying the little game, you go in for a bear hug from behind, and she reflexively grabs your arm. Giggling, but with brute strength, she wretches it behind your back, forcing you into the sofa below.
  38.
  39. What felt like coy playfulness now has a great deal of stress on your shoulder. You play it off, asking Manuela to let go, and she teases you.
  40. "C' mon sweetie! You've gotta try harder than that if you want to get free!" she chides, leaning her body weight on yours, as you feel the stress building.
  41. You ask again, this time more seriously, that she get off and let go.
  42. "You're not saying little ol' me is stronger than the Chosen One, right?"
  43. At this point, you begin to truly struggle, and reply that you're not kidding.
  44. "Why don't you make me, huh? C'mon~!" She says, trying to be playful, pushing further and further until
  45.
  46. GAAHAHAHH!!
  47. >I guess my tale...ends here.
  48. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  49.
  50. "MANUELA, you fool!" I hissed, pacing back and forth, outside the door to our bedroom.
  51. "How do you go on a honeymoon with your new husband and DISLOCATE HIS SHOULDER!" I moaned in frustration, pounding at my head.
  52. "It's over. It's all over. I was married for 2 days. 2 DAYS, and you blew it!" I paused briefly before crumpling to the ground letting the tears I'd tried so desperately to hold back cascade down my cheeks.
  53. "Well...it was nice. To feel like someone could love someone like me. Even if only for a little while."
  54.
  55. It was then that I heard Blyeth call for me from behind the door. I stood up shakily and took a deep breath before opening the door. Byleth was sitting on the side of the bed, looking at me expectantly with the most understanding smile.
  56.
  57. "Sweetie!" The tears began to flow again as I ran to embrace him. He let out a grunt of pain, and I quickly recoiled.
  58. "Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry! The restorative magic I used will soothe the pain, and you should feel better in about an hour or so." I quickly spat out." I clasped my hands together, nervously waiting to hear what he had to say.
  59.
  60. All he wanted to know was why I'd been acting so strange. I lowered my head and felt my cheeks flush as I explained the situation.
  61. "W-Well. I was a bit nervous about our first night together as newlyweds. I just wanted to impress you since it's such a special occasion, so I asked some of the girls from the monastery for some tips. I'd never thought things would end this way though."
  62. I sighed and waited for him to call me silly, or thoughtless, or some third thing, but all he did was chuckle.
  63.
  64. I'm sure I couldn't hide the surprise on my face.
  65. "What's so funny?" I asked. He took me by the chin and pulled me in for a tender kiss. I thought I'd gotten used to this before, but this warmth and softness of his lips were indescribable. When he pulled away, he simply said that we were already married and that I didn't need to try so hard to impress him. He loved me for being me, and he married me because he wanted me...all to himself. The tears started welling up in my eyes again, and I collapsed into his chest, holding him close.
  66. "That was such a lame remark, dear. Honestly. But I do hope that's truly how you feel because now you're stuck with me!"
