KH3 Speedrun Thoughts After Some Time Away & an apology

Honestly the main reason I'm writing this at all is because I wanted to apologize for a couple incidents in this game's early life cycle where I was too antagonistic to people either about routing when we were doing that or runs months ago. A lot of bad things were happening IRL at the time that I'm still dealing with the ramifications of right now and I kinda conflated my emotions at the time into KH3 and the community surrounding it at the time. So for those times I went way too far being antagonistic with people about the route or even about liking the game: I'm sorry. I apologize for all those times I went too far and hope if that made a bad impression with anyone we can move beyond that.

As for the speedrun, I can now say that time has passed enough that I can look at the game separate from those feelings... and it's a mess honestly. Early game up through Toy Box is honestly not bad. There's some annoyances (and I really really hate Ralph) but it's not a terrible speedrun. It's at that point for me that fatigue sets in for me as I realize I have to contend with midgame. I really hate midgame. Monsters-Carribean are just bad. San Fran isn't terrible outside of evil Baymax but that largest chuck of the run is just not enjoyable to me at all. Once you get past it though end game is fine. I kinda like it, it's certainly not terrible.
Basically if wanted to run this the question would be: do I like early and late game enough to put up with midgame? And the answer is no. Combine that with the length of the run and it just isn't a speedrun for me. If people want to do races or something just as an excuse to hang out I'd probably be down but that's about the extent of this game's usage for me. Hopefully Re:Mind comes around and changes things but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
