Hirari's mom went to Hirari's graduation stage, she wants to thank everyone, makes this post on G+ because of the character limit on Twitter. Talks about when Hillary was born, how she decided to devote her whole life to raising her.

Hirari lived a good life without many hardships until she was 12 years old, which was when she decided to join AKB. Mom was against her joining the group, since she'd have to quit the school she had worked so hard to get into, and would have to live separated from her father and brother. They wound up going nonetheless since it was Hillary's wish, and mom thought that she would grow to hate it and quit anyways.

They ended up spending 5 years in Japan and it was an incredibly difficult time. Of course there are lots of good memories, but at the end of the day the showbiz is a harsh and chaotic world. As Hirari's parent, she thought about just taking her and forcing her back to America many times when she had to see her daughter whom she had raised so carefully be deeply hurt, cry painful tears and experience terrible hardships.

However, giving up was absolutely out of the question for Hirari, she put in an insane amount of work and moved forward step by step. Her Japanese improved too, to the point where you wouldn't even notice that it's not her first language.

What Hirari gained throughout these 5 years are irreplaceable friends, life experiences and above all the love from her fans.

Hirari has said before that she might return to the showbiz once her university is over, but what her mom wants for her at the moment is the regular life of an 18-year-old-girl. Fooling around with her peers after school, falling in love with guys, etc. She wants her to have these experiences and see her grow into a wonderful woman.

But at the end of the day, no matter what path her daughter chooses to pursue, she will support and watch over Hirari until the day she dies.

As a closing statement she remarks that there might be Hirari fans who will now support a different girl, but she'd be glad if moving forward you were to remember and occasionally recall the memories of Hirata Rina from AKB back to your mind.
