  1. [14:19] Acantho says, "ALRIGHT."
  2. [14:19] Acantho says, "We work."
  3. [14:19] Fleur says, "Work-work."
  4. [14:25] Upon arriving at their work area, drones were already waiting for the group with some materials - that is, mythril along with leather and auguria, the materials they would use for the construction of the exoskeleton! The part, in a way, basic of this whole project.
  5.
  6. Compared to others at least.
  7.
  8. "Right, as I said before.. We'll be building a Power Suit, a superior form of defense - that will give magitech a new use!" And so, he opened his lab coat separating his tools while the automatons..
  9.
  10. They would do their part! That is, they processed the materials in the furnaces at the bottom area of that structure, so that they could have ingots to be used in the making of that project.
  11.
  12. "What we will do today is first an exoskeleton, made from Myhtril - Fleur, you will be helping me with this." A nod from him was offered in the girl's direction - "After we've set this up, we'll work on the interior of it.
  13.
  14. Lining it with Auguriam plates, as well as leather, which should protect the user while inside.
  15.
  16. Any questions?" And now, he awaited for anything to be said, before then, they got to work.
  17. (Acantho)
  18. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19.
  20. [14:33] Her eyes locked to that beautiful machine-- Lifebringer, as she wandered inside the workshop yet again. It still never failed to dazzle her, but this time she was addressed much sooner than before, and so she turned her attention to the buzzing drones, and the Director himself likely controlling them through some means.
  21.
  22. If there was plenty of heated metal? Then she was already more than stoked, and a thumbs-up was given in the scruffy man's direction, clearly eager to get started on the frame.
  23.
  24. "Do you already have the schematics written out? Just point me where you need me, Professor. Mythril shouldn't be a problem to shape with my magic-- especially not if it's already heated up."
  25. (Fleur)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [14:40] "Right. Time to build pops a suit."
  29.
  30. The Construct inhales its cigarette whole, vaporizing it and lowering his hood to reveal his face. Enzos face was constructed to look as if he was wearing a mask with the rudimentary shape of a human skull, something he found he liked which was fitting because the construct was essentially a teenager in their standards.
  31.
  32. "Downloading the schematics from the Lifebringer, Network patched in and preparing frame and work stations."
  33.
  34. Eyzobel had designed Omicron to be a far more versatile lab partner than the original was, being a much more reason able size, modular and customizable limbs as well as all of the knowledge, schematics and memory that Eyzobel had despite being an entirely different being in its own respects.
  35.
  36. First, he'd work with the Lifebringer to prepare the frame for the suit, after all they needed somewhere to build the skeleton with the proper specifications. The Construct used his finger like a welding torch to properly attach and secure what needed to be prepared while the Lifebringer fed him the specifications and designs.
  37.
  38. Enzo worked diligently as the final touches of the frame and its prep were done, this was Omicrons first time working in the lab since awakening and he'd taken to it like he was built and designed for it.
  39.
  40. Which he was.
  41. (EN-0 Omicron)
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [14:46] At Fleur's request, the scientist would remove some sheets from his lab coat in which the armor design was present - as well as more details of the equipment. But what they would do is the frame, a kind of space, in which the user should be allocated.
  45.
  46. As expected.
  47.
  48. This would have hydraulic systems, to facilitate movement, use of weapons and other things - certainly useful as one could see. Meanwhile, the interior was filled with leather that would make it more comfortable to remain inside, as well as auguria due to its biological properties - that should protect the user further.
  49.
  50. "As you can see we have a lot of work ahead, work together with Omicron on the construction of the arms and legs - I will work on the head and also the chest." With orders given, he departed to where his desk was.
  51.
  52. And at this moment, the drones entered once again bringing the ingots they would be using! Myhtril and Auguria, being handed over to the others, so that it could begin.
  53.
  54. Once he had received his share, the scientist would begin his part of the work - using his tools to hammer, weld and mold the metal bars into a new shape. One, of a helmet that would be the 'head' of the Power Suit.
  55.
  56. The work.. Begins.
  57. (Acantho)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [14:56] Extinction observes the ongoing workings. This was far out of it's given directive.
  61.
  62. It was simply a combat unit. Not a crafting unit. Or, built with sub optimal capabilities to do such either.
  63. (Extinction)
  64. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  65.
  66. [15:00] Enzo nods, preparing the materials needed and putting them through the processing unit while he also worked on all the etching of the circuitry. Everything he did was to facilitate runework for the Magitek as well as enable proper mana circulation. He'd even go over his work to enable efficiency and improve upon his own work.
  67.
  68. Despite not being an Artificier the construct was capable of doing everything up to the point of runework which in turn made him a perfect lab assistant. The designs for the skeletal frame were on display for Fleur to see though Enzo worked with the knowledge already in his mainframe allowing him to work fast and with extreme precision.
  69.
  70. "Right. Joint mechanisms functioning properly, circuitry is optimal and capable of running a charge. Now working on magnetic cufflinks for airtight sealing as well as replaceable plating."
  71.
  72. With that, Enzo would prepare the magically powered magnets and apply them to specific spaces on the frame, deactivating them and applying the magical circuitry to it uplinks allowing the wearer to control the magnetic sealing process.
  73.
  74. Omicron was considerably a Jack of all trades compared to many of its fellow 3-As preferring combat yet designed to aid as a lab assistant. Designed by Eyzobel to be able to protect and assist Acantho at all costs, however, the anomaly that was Enzo had grown to develop its own preferences.
  75.
  76. This however was like muscle memory.
  77.
  78. It's next step was to introduce the final details to the exosuits hands and uplinks for Organic fingers as well as mana circuits for optimal energy flow between the wearer and the suit.
  79.
  80. Everything else for this step was left to the Lifebringer and to move onto the legs.
  81. (EN-0 Omicron)
  82. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.
  84. [15:11] She took the blueprints, naturally, for she was a filthy biological, and she couldn't just hook up to the wi-fi like the golems could. Yet. So instead she took a bit to study what she was about to make with awe. Though, it seemed she was already lagging behind Enzo. The tinkerer wandered over towards Lifebringer-- not the most ideal workspace for her personal talents, but it was fine.
  85.
  86. Metal-magic was versatile like that. Large Mythril ingots were infused with her mana, and lifted from where the drones had set them down, almost like little drones themselves, but this levitation was merely her will extended upon them, and not the doings of buzzing propellers.
  87.
  88. "You got it, boss."
  89.
  90. The schematics were hooked upon a gravity-defying clamp, which she'd cross-reference as much as possible as she began to work opposite of the A-3 model. She needed no tools to settle in metals, or bend them to the appropriate shapes, and sizes. It simply yielded beneathher magic, as usual. Especially a material as non-dense as Mythril was.
  91.
  92. Her hands hovered over the work-station the other had chosen, and she in kind started from the bottom, and up. Fleur was by no means particularly versed in Magitek itself, but she hardly needed to be an expert in such a manner to follow the specifications given.
  93.
  94. That wasn't to say she wasn't absorbing knowledge at a rather alarming rate, consuming it as if were it a pile of nachos between a group of hungover academy students the morning after graduation. It was as close to 'Downloading' she could get without being hooked up to the system itself.
  95.
  96. The core-frame she'd made before was different to now. The legs had many, many more individual parts all normally requiring assembling, and bonding by hand, and tools, but Fleur had no such issue. Instead, heated bars of metal warped to her specifications-- almost as if a liquid in itself, splitting, and shaping into exceedingly accurate components which assembled themselves before their eyes.
  97.
  98. In contrast to Enzo, she hadn't been born to work like so. But she damn-well had made it her life's mission to be good at it, and so the legs slowly formed upwards where the golem themselves wasn't working, as to not disrupt their parts.
  99.
  100. "All green so far. This is just the frame itself...? It's already way more intricate than anything I've ever popped open."
  101. (Fleur)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [15:29] The head was made to have spaces for certain things, such as the viewfinders and so on - but also to be interconnected and disconnected from the full frame as needed! Regardless.. unlike the others who used magic and other techniques, he used his tools.
  105.
  106. As expected.
  107.
  108. He cut and molded each part carefully, every detail being done through - just as it was in the schematics. And as soon as he finished the metallic part, he started to add auguria plates to the inside, screwing and interlocking it to the frame - before moving on to the leather.. Which was used in certain parts to cover that object.
  109.
  110. And once finished, the helmet was put on the side.
  111.
  112. It clearly wasn't the final piece, as it lacked the external protections, runic systems and other things - but it was a step! Now, he began moving on to the chest - which, the scientist first started to build support bars with the help of his drones, before starting to work properly on the frame of this one.
  113.
  114. As needed.
  115.
  116. Similar to the helmet, he worked first in molding the metal using magitech tools that melted and connected the pieces - until finally, that piece was taking some shape! It was something huge as expected, since much of the user's body would remain inside - in addition to having space in the basic spots, where legs and arms would soon be connected.
  117.
  118. When he had finished shaping the exterior, he would start working on the interior positioning the auguria platelets and then connecting these to the frame.. Until he could now, work with the leather! Something soon after done, as he was lining the inside all the way quickly, before.. Completing that step.
  119.
  120. And now..
  121.
  122. Two pieces were ready.
  123.
  124. "All ready here, how about you two? If you have everything there.. We can start to link all the frame pieces together and position it here in the center." He reported standing up, while snapping his fingers.
  125.
  126. The drones would put the pieces together and then bring them to the scientist, at least the ones he did - while he would see if the others were ready for the next step.
  127. (Acantho)
  128. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  129.
  130. [15:32] Acantho has placed Prisminthium (x3) into the chest.
  131. [15:48] Enzo nods, keeping quiet save to divulge in specific details through out the process having finished each of the arms and now testing them by interfacing with the neural network they'd installed.
  132.
  133. Once the testing was complete he would command the drones to bring the arms over to be set properly onto the skeleton once complete. From there he'd lean against his workspace, seeing that there was nothing left for him to do for the moment.
  134.
  135. The combination of fire, metal and sand magic added for a rather useful array of tools allowing the construct to do variety of glass. Using heat and sand magic to create dense silicates similar to what Eyzobels armor was made from especially as Enzo had completely absorbed Eyzobels physical form to be repurposed for such uses.
  136.
  137. "Right. Arms are set and ready, let's take a look at this bad boy."
  138. (EN-0 Omicron)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [15:50] Space as left for limbs to be inserted into comfortably, and though it normally might have been particularly difficult to work in many of the finer details with the way she was assembling it bit by bit, being able to wrap the metals beneath her hands without any kind of damage made it much easier to reach. Particularly so when she had to get handsy given her lack of ability to control fabrics not made of minerals.
  142.
  143. The leather was fit snugly between moving mechanisms, before she began to test the hydraulic-based opening function to see if everything was in the correct place. It opened just fine, of course-- Fleur didn't make mistakes when she was working seriously, or, mostly didn't, anyway. Not since her shed had mysteriously, and spontaneously exploded.
  144.
  145. ...But that hadn't been her fault. Definitely not.
  146.
  147. Mana circulated the frame's leg she had taken to working on, and allowed it to once more shut closed once again, only to open, and repeat a few more times before being left ajar. Then, came the Auguria-platelets. It wasn't her first time using it, but it was her first time making armour with it. A silly thing, really, given how useful it could be.
  148.
  149. "Almost done here. Just fittin' in the greenies, mhm."
  150.
  151. She peered to Enzo then, but only briefly-- even if she hardly needed her sight when it came to metallic objects, and their construction, she still preferred to see what she was working on unless such task was impossible due to pure quantity of objects.
  152.
  153. Once the Auguria was in place? Well, she gave the joints of the legs some care through a bit of grease. Not that things weren't moving properly, but it would spare the metal repairs in the long run.
  154.
  155. "There! Finished, and ready."
  156. (Fleur)
  157. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  158.
  159. [16:07] Before anything else, the scientist started to analyze the parts produced by the others, as soon as he had done that he nodded before starting to order his drones to do the manual work. They began to first allocate the legs made by Fleur in front of Lifebringer.
  160.
  161. Pinning these to the ground, while holding them in place - to not fall sideways.
  162.
  163. "The work is exemplary, now time to put everything in place." As they worked he spoke, his voice echoing through the room before he continued to command his automatons.
  164.
  165. Which now brought the torso, which was attached to the legs and held in place, before the arms were brought in and put on! Each part was adjusted to the right place, properly connected while the scientist checked that everything was functional.. And apparently it was!
  166.
  167. Good.
  168.
  169. There were even parts that would open for the entrance of the user of such suit, as desired.
  170.
  171. And finally, the helmet frame was placed on top of that set of equipment, which now marked the end of that procedure, so one more step was completed.
  172.
  173. "Alright, everything seems to be in place.. The pieces fit perfectly, nothing exploded.. Yet.
  174.
  175. I believe our work.. is done!
  176.
  177. Perfect, I appreciate the cooperation, soon we will continue to work on this project - for now, you all are dismissed to rest." Said such words in a simplistic way, before nodding in their direction.
  178. (Acantho)
  179. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  180.
  181. [16:07] EN-0 Omicron says, "Hmm.. Wouldn't mind making some things explode though."
  182. [16:08] Acantho says, "Do it to the cult of the Deep One."
  183. [16:08] EN-0 Omicron says, "I thought Orders were to hold off on them for now."
  184. [16:12] A hand swept across her fore head as she watched the full assembly of the suit. It looked clunky, and kind of bulky, but without the rest of the work done on it, this was fairly natural. Still, so many tiny parts, all slotting in like a puzzle, into a hydraulic system capable of making more power than she knew what to do with?
  185.
  186. It was exciting, and a giddy grin hovered on her lips all the same. But she was exhausted-- using her magic for so long was understandably tiring. So, she raised her hand to give a wave towards the two.
  187.
  188. "Always happy to help. I'll be going then, call for me when you're doing the next step."
  189. (Fleur)
  190. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  191.
  192. [16:13] Acantho says, "Safe travels, Fleur."
  193. [16:13] Fleur exclaims, "Mhmm! You too!"
