- In order to get Davis as your candidate, you need McAdoo to lose the nomination, and you need to avoid triggering Glass or Walsh. Glass and Walsh are thankfully very easy to avoid; they're triggered by picking specific answers, so you just need to avoid those answers.
- Getting McAdoo to lose is a bit more interesting. There's a "primary" variable that gets incremented if you pick specific answers, and you need to make sure that variable doesn't count too high by question 18. There's actually a different way to guarantee a loss for McAdoo, though, and that's to pick "These fees" as the answer to question 1. Neither answer to question 1 have any effects, so it loses you nothing to pick it, and you get to completely avoid worrying about the primary system.
- *However*, you may notice that I don't actually pick that answer. As it turns out, the answers I ended up using wouldn't win McAdoo the nomination anyway, so either answer for question 1 would work fine. The reason I opted for the other answer, "I don't think", is because picking it skips question 3, which makes for ***slightly*** faster grinding. Skipping question 3 doesn't have any impact beyond that, because the best answer for question 3 also doesn't have any effects.
