  1. "I don't find this necessary." It was the first words she spoke the entire time they were in the command room.
  2.
  3. "Necessary? You're to lead a legion of the greatest warriors humanity produced, sister, this is more then necessary." Felicia replied, as she painstakingly set up the board. A small war game to teach the tactics to best use the forces that would be under Konstanze's command.
  4.
  5. "Don't call me that. I barely believe our father is our father." Felicia rolled her eyes, the woman was fitted for power armor earlier, prefering as most of their sisters did lighter, sleeker armor. Though she made odd requests for certain elements. Particularly the clawed finger tips.
  6.
  7. What she knew about her sister was that she came from the gloomy world of Nostramo, know for it's adamantium, but it appeared that Konstanze didn't become the ruler of her world... or at least directly. They had heard tales from the people of Nostramo. About how millenia of cruelty finally coaslesced into a Goddess of Death that went after the wicked and saved the weak.
  8.
  9. They talked of a woman wearing blue and black, cackling as she was splattered with blood, and her tauting cry of "I have come for you!"
  10.
  11. The terrifying woman of the stories they heard was not the brooding pale skinned woman standing before her, her long straight black hair falling down past her back. Still, she'll open up to her... at some point.
  12.
  13. --------------------
  14.
  15. Felicia had convinced Ferrus to make a pair of daggers more suited for their sister. A gift for Konstanze. The wickedly serrated power blades were capable of cutting through anything and everything. It was some of their brother's best work. It was almost a few days after such a gift was granted to her that Konstanze opened more and more to the Chemosian.
  16.
  17. Until finally...
  18.
  19. "I have... visions. Dreams, I suppose. Though they're more like nightmares..." Konstanze had started. "Of the future, actually. It's how I knew where those monstes would be, back in Nostramo. Where they would be, who they were attacking... but...."
  20.
  21. "Konstanze?" Felicia was concerned by her sister that had just opened up to her.
  22.
  23. "The one that's kept to me the most... is the death of our father." The silence in the room was deafening.
  24.
  25. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" Felicia asked, disbelieving.
  26.
  27. "I've always had visions of our father, dead or dying. Sometimes he is killed by an ork... other times by a lucky mortal on a world that is... uncompliant. Sometimes? It's a monster I can't begin to describe." Konstanze voice was low and flinched when she found her sister hugging you.
  28.
  29. "I want you to know, Konstanze, we will never let anything befall father. You. Me. Our siblings. We fight as a family. And as long as we stick together, nothing will harm us."
  30.
  31. --------------------
  32.
  33. Konstanze over looked the battlefield. The orks were broken with the death of their leader and her gene-daughters once again proved themselves just as capable as her brothes. She felt... pride swell in her chest. Murder techniques perfected in the streets of Nostramo were just as good at slaughtering orks as they were rapists.
  34.
  35. "You! Woman!" Her good mood was ruined. She didn't know what Felicia saw in Ferrus. He could make anything, but honestly... he could be a bit blunt.
  36.
  37. "I have a name, Ferrus." Konstanze said, not looking at her brother.
  38.
  39. "Whatever." Was Ferrus' blunt reply. "I hear you have visions of a dark future."
  40.
  41. He poked her in the forehead, the metal that made up his hands so so so cold against her skin. "If you are a sister of mine, you would go out and fix it so these visions will not come to pass! To do other wise... is cowardice."
  42.
  43. He didn't let her reply, he just turned on his heel... and walked away, going back to join his gene-sons.
  44.
  45. Konstanze felt it well up inside her. Fury. Anger. And pain. The only one he could have heard it from... the only one she told... was Felicia.
