  1. ''Well, that didn't work out.'' Tim admitted to himself as he, slowly, continued his path. ''Which means I have two options. First I get out the cold iron from my bag and try to brute force my way through this.'' He considered but dismissed the tactic. ''Brute forcing your way through an obstacle is why you are in thi mess in the first place, moron.''
  2.
  3. Which left...the creative solution.
  4.
  5. He stopped and turned around.
  6.
  7. ''Hmm. This would not even remotely work in the real world but...this pocket of the Nevernever is approximating real life physics at the moment, the distance is not too high and I can probably make it work before the owner realizes it and shuts me down by the simple virtue of them probably needing a moment to realize what I'm doing.''
  8.
  9. "One last thing.'' He said, fixing his look on the knight as he began to rapidly and greedily draw in the magic energy which was abundant in the Nevernever. The spell he was about to use had been one he had been working on for years and so far the amount of power it needed had been one of the main issues. ''Well, sometimes you gotta leap before you run.'' He thought as his mind began to parse complex formulas and arrange magic focus patterns. "Allow me to make a case for the quality of modern Wizardry."
  10.
  11. As he began to form the magic around him, Gravity began to act up. Stones and leaves began to fly upward all around him and everything began to shift clearly toward the blue for the split of a moment as he opened his hands around himself and voiced a single spell as he made a step forward.
  12.
  13. "''Capteramba.''"
  14.
  15. The Magic snapped into place, energy wresting the force of Gravity at a level so fundamental Tim wasn't sure he'd ever be able to replicate in the real world. Gravity in turn began to assert its will, forcing, twisting, ''bending'' the space Tim stood next to a spot clear on the other side of the river. Euclid ceased to have meaning as the two places in this space suddenly were bend next to each other, just for the moment it took for Tim's foot to hit the ground on the other side and the other one to leave the ground.
  16.
  17. The spell ended, about a fraction shorter than Tim expected and the two spots violently resumed their place in the scenery as they were arranged.
  18.
  19. Tim ''almost'' made it. Almost in a way that didn't leave a body part behind but transferred enough energy of the violent snap back into a surprised Wizard in a explosion of Blueshift and excess Energy.
